Food was pretty good. I had a wrap or chicken swarma and it was delicious. Staff was unfriendly and seemed to rather be anywhere but there, and was put off that anyone came in and disturbed their break. (I had a late lunch and came in about 2:00)

This used to be my favorite restaurant. Not anymore. Quality of food dropped significantly. Chicken is not cooked and the carrot hummus was old and fermented. Chef didn’t seem to care for the feedback.

Walked in around lunchtime on a Monday and was the only person in the restaurant. Always a red flag for me but was willing to give it a shot. I had a chicken shwarma which was pretty good, but my disappointment and biggest compliant with this place is that it is called "Mama Pita" but yet you can't get this chicken shwarma (or anything in that menu category) served on traditional PITA BREAD! It was served on a wrap/ tortilla type thing which left me underwhelmed.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. My boyfriend and I came here for lunch the other day and we both got extremely sick from food poisoning. The food poisoning has lasted for a few days already. The chicken was raw. Nothing good about this place. We will never come here again.

Okay food, service was excellent. What turned me off was the Salt and Pepper shakers were really dirty...and a mouse trap in the womens bath. If they could do a clean up it it might be all that

I really liked the flavors of everything. This was my first time to eat here and the gentleman let me pick extra sides. I dont live in Frisco and I hope I get the chance to eat here again.
I loved food at mama pita and so went there to eat yesterday. Went there with my wife. Got out of my car and saw employees throwing abuses at a customer who just walked out. I just left as it was scary. Not sure whose mistake was there but if there was a problem they could call the cops instead of behaving like hooligans. What is wrong with these people

I have to agree with the posts that mention the recipes are completely different to what they used to be. We used to go to this restaurant once or more per week, when they had just opened. Their food was absolutely delicious, especially the dips (beet, carrot, hummus, tzatziki, tahini sauce).We decided to go back yesterday after a few years of not going and were totally disappointed. The kafta (although different) was good, and the rice as well. Other than that, it was terrible!! And quite pricey as well!Not sure what happened, but these can’t be the same recipes... don’t blame it on the cook.There is no way everything can taste SO different!!I don’t think we will ever go back. It is a shame, as we loved this place. :(

I have been going to this restaurant for last 10 years and it has never fallen short. Their Kababs are the best ! They recently added kabuli pulao with lamb shank to their menu (they will substitute lamb shank with chicken Kabab if requested). The staff are very nice as well. The ambiance is quite unique (high ceilings and has positive vibes) and its conveniently located in Legacy East! My wife & I love this place, and have taken a lot of my friends for lunch/dinner. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some awesome Mediterranean food.
