The Plano location is not what it used to be. Cashiers have always been helpful if I didn’t find the correct thing they gave me a comparable item free of charge if it was not what I was looking for. No questions asked. The customer service I received from a manager today was less than acceptable. I drove there specifically to get pecans and of course they were out, and I was forced to get the sprouted pecans at $22 a pound! I took one cup of that which was a whopping $9 for just less than a cup so of course I was hoping that they would let me have it at the regular price of the pecans they were out of. Nope, she wouldn’t do it. I’ve been going to that store since 2008 four to five times a week. Unbelievable that I had to go to H-E-B to get my pecans for less than $3, their refusal to compromise led me to another store that I will now shop at. I am positive that if Jason were working today, he would’ve assisted me in a more favorable manner.

Always an amazing grocery experience but it continues to get even better! Dave and Jerry always come up and greet me while I am shopping! Always positive and helpful, they make my shopping experience that much better! The fruits and vegetables, cheeses and meats, breads and pastries at this location are just beyond comparison! Today I made two trips here because my family ate everything that I bought earlier!:D Keep up the great work, Whole Foods-Plano! I don't shop anywhere else! See you tomorrow!:D

Staff: Love love love this location and the staff! When I walk in, I know that everyone working inside is a happy and positive person that'll be respectful. Cleanliness: This location is consistently clean, in fact, can't remember a time it wasn't! Bakery: Absolutely delicious! Whenever I go to someone's house I take a bakery item and they always talk about it every time I see them after!

It's taken some time, but Whole Foods has finally lost my family's loyalty after twenty years of exclusively shopping there. I just absolutely can't stand it any longer. 1) Whole Foods has stopped carrying every single name brand organic product to which we are loyal. The list is extremely long, so I won't try to list them here. They have tried to replace these amazing high quality, organic brands and products with their inferior 365 brand. It's laughable how incredibly low quality the 365 products are, and yet the prices are still high. 2) The butcher NEVER has the cuts of grass fed, grass finished meats that we like, including but not limited to, filet mignon, T-Bones, Porterhouse, etc. Those have to be special ordered in advance, and it's not clear to me that they're even grass fed and grass finished then. I think they try to pass grain fed beef off as grass finished. It's too long of a story to explain why I believe that, but I do believe it's true. 3) The fish department is gross. I've found worms in the fresh fish that we've purchased. If nothing else, I highly recommend never purchasing their fresh fish products. They then don't acknowledge the problem. 4) The very few organic produce that they have is usually rotten and inedible. 5) They no longer carry high quality organic products. Jeff Bezos clearly believes the general consumer is plain d*** and tries to pass off non-organic foods as high quality at a higher price than the organic products, ie. their inferior 365 brand. Give me a break?! 6) The overall prices are higher than ever, despite the fact that quality has sunk lower than ever. 7) The employees are clearly unhappy and it shows in their utter lack of customer service. We now try our best to shop at Natural Grocers, Vitacost, and Market Street. Market Street has very few organic products, but Whole Foods has even fewer. Whole Foods is now USED for true emergency purposes only. Yuck! Yuck! and Yuck! Whole Foods needs some new competition and quickly.

Always fun, shopping at Whole Foods. Their selections are diverse and appealing. Usually, we're looking for organic and non-GMO produce, or a quick entre for a delicious easy meal. Today, we were after some coconut. Nice that they carry coconut that is not sulfered. That preservative causes me to wheeze. So, I'm happy that it was in stock. Can't wait for this pandemic to end, so Whole Foods can bring back their bulk food items. Can't allow us to share the scoops, so the coconut has to be pre-packaged.

Love this store it is always so clean and staff are so helpful, they were all wearing masks most shoppers were also but didn't see a sign they required them, but there was a stack at the door if you forgot yours. The produce dept is huge with so many choices(more than most grocery stores I feel) huge wine and cheese area also. The meat is behind glass and you need a meat person to help you pick out what you want. The self serve salad bar is back and they had a few meal items you could dish up. Their prices are a little high but you are paying for excellent quality. They have an area you can pickup and return Amazon pkg that was very busy this afternoon.

10 people at the butcher counter, 6 employees behind the counter- 1 employee actually helping customers

I like the Amazon section to pick up or return. WF tries to keep their food healthier.

Update on the repeat price mistakes, so far since the last time I posted the review, it has never happened again. Good job on attention to detail! I love the new renovation on the space, looks very clean and fresh.

I am a long time Whole Foods shopper and after my experience at this location on Friday and customer service today, I think I'm moving on. It seems to have really went downhill gradually over the last year. I stopped Friday evening for a couple of quick things and left completely unhappy. The people in charge of counting occupants at the entry were too busy making jokes and goofing off with each other to offer me any guidance and even blocked my ability to get a cart, acting like I was some awful person for asking them if I could please get by to grab one too... um, ok. The store is also under construction so a few products I needed were out of stock and a few were hard to find. I asked another employee for help finding something I buy regularly and he led me around the store a good ten minutes (I thought he knew where we were going) before telling me he had no clue and sorry but he couldn't help me. Why don't they have a way to look these things up? Why didn't he tell me this to begin with? After waiting in line for a good thirty minutes (it's Friday evening, so although they could've had more lanes open, this is not the reason for my complaint) I was greeted by the nicest cashier ever. She even told me about a promo they have where you get $10 towards AMZ Prime Day with a Whole Foods purchase. Very nice experience. I get home and find that: a. one of my grocery items is expired b. I never received this Prime Credit so I contact Whole Foods Customer Service and they tell me there is nothing they can do that I need to go back to the store and talk to the manager, which seems insane for a company not only owned by Amazon but obviously tightly connected to Amazon. PS. I wont be going back and talking to the manager, it was way too much stress last time to bother with. I also wont be going back for any other reason either, including shopping.

I placed a $220 grocery order online at 6:15pm for delivery between 8pm and 10pm. The last notification I received was around 7:30pm stating that my shopper had finished my order. By 11pm I had not received my order, so I called Amazon customer service. I was told that my order was not able to be tracked and was advised to call back in the morning if my order had still not been delivered. By 9am this morning--no delivery, so I again called Amazon. I talked to three people, the last a supervisor, who said unfortunately my order was "missing" and they would cancel it, refund our money, and I could then place another order. REALLY????? When I asked what they were going to do to make this right and how they would ensure that this didn't happen again...I was told that they would be "looking into the issue" and I was offered a $10 promotional credit. This is the second time this has happened with our grocery order, though last time it actually did show up several hours after it was supposed to. Amazon and Whole Foods BOTH need to work on their customer service. At this point, we will be getting our food from Sprouts and Market Street. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Nice area. But my favorite location is the one near the Allen Outlets. I found this layout a bit difficult to find the items that I normally get. Totally discombobulates you. Finally was able to make my way thru and found all items I was looking for EXCept the kombucha that apparently only Sprouts carries.

Whole Foods will take your whole wallet... only you can decide if it's worth it. Love this place for exceptional quality and unique produce, their special items and wide selection. Stopped in for some supplies for BLTs this weekend. We found Whole Foods to have some beautiful heirloom tomatoes, super fresh bib lettuce, rich and creamy Havarti cheese and the most wonderful sourdough bread you can find anywhere in Texas. A good sandwich starts with the finest ingredients so these BLTs were certainly a special treat. They also had some fresh hatch chilies so we grabbed some to bring home and roast on the grill. Picked up some of the most sweet and tender corn on the cob also. On our way to checkout I grabbed a slice of pizza for my kiddo not realizing the price... Oh my, $4 for an average sized piece of plain cheese pizza is robbery! But then again, only you can decide if giving up your wallet at Whole Foods is worth it. For us, sometimes it most certainly is.

I've been to this location a few times have no complaints except for the high prices and limited sales. They are being very conscious about the pandemic and have changed store policies; customers without a face mask can get one for free at the entrance, and the same doors are used for entry and exit. The staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable when I asked for specific specialty products (vegan baklavas and croissants) in the bakery section which they helped me find. Just wish they wouldn't charge so much!

Got here a couple of minutes before closing and the two attendants at the door would not let me in to get 1 item ! The store was full of people ! I drove here for 40 minutes ! Terrible personnel , terrible customer care . After years of coming here , you lost my business as you have no heart . Sitting in the parking lot and 15 min later shoppers are still coming out .
