I really like this lovely & quality bakery. I found this place on Yelp & was pleased to know how close it was to my Airbnb house! My FAVORITE desserts were lemon delight cake & chocolate chip brownie. During a stressful trip for a family member's medical/surgical journey, I needed something sweet to soothe my emotional distress (this was after I prayed multiple times; meditated with Buddhist mantra, chatted with close friends, and read a self-help book that a gf brought me, etc.). I still needed another variable to mitigate what I have been through. The slice of lemon cake helped out!! The next day, I had the brownie, which was soooo delicious & not overly rich. I also loved the cozy interior of the bakery! Highly recommend this place for quality desserts.

I purchased a tres leches cake to take to a friends house which in my opinion was overpriced and not worth it at all. It was my first time there and I asked if they had cakes so the associate showed me the options they had on her phone, none of the full cakes are viewable in the store. Anyways I said tres leches which was $40 for an 8 inch cake. The cake came in a plastic top lid to which I asked do you have a cardboard box because I was taking it to a friends house for her birthday and wanted it to look like it’s from a bakery and not the grocery store. The associate said not for these cakes (I’m assuming for custom cakes they do). When we got to my friends house we all ate the cake and I’m sorry but nobody liked it. Parts of the cake were frozen, it was not moist and some people even questioned it being tres leches. Grocery store cakes taste better, are not frozen when we eat them and are half the cost. I regret the $40 I spent here.

Millstone has stayed on my radar for quality baked goods. Picked up some chocolate chip cookies for some friends. They enjoyed....I didn't eat any but was told they were very good. Also purchased a loaf of the brioche. Fresh and tasty.

We were so happy with the way our custom Kirby cake turned out both in design and taste! Strawberry with vanilla buttercream. Our daughter loved it for her birthday as well as friends and family. Francesca did a great job from the moment I contacted her, and we are so appreciative of her help in making the day extra special!Kid-friendliness: Great local bakery for fresh bread, sweets, and custom treats that are kid tasted and approved.

I ordered my husband's birthday cake from Millstone after finding them through Google, and I was not disappointed. I ordered a simple cake and was expecting a run of the mill grocery store cake, but when I arrived to pick it up, I was pleasantly surprised! They did such a nice job on the decorations, I was even surprised they were able to incorporate the gold accent I asked for. And on top of that, the cake was delicious! Such a huge hit at the party, people were asking to take slices home! I highly recommend Millstone Bakery!

The person we contracted for our wedding cake bailed and we did not know it until the morning of the wedding. My now husband went to Millstone Bakery and they not only saved the day, the guests raved about how delicious the cakes were. We were able to buy cakes they had on hand and they made a couple last minute custom ones for us. It ended us being the best cake display we could have asked for and the guests loved all the options. There were only a few pieces left over. We can't thank Millstone enough for the service and quality they delivered on such short notice. We are forever loyal customers!

I was looking for a specialty baker to get a cake for my wife’s birthday. Millstone stood out for their unbleached flour and all natural ingredients. So went in there and got lucked on a chocolate cake baked same day. The key is to always fresh cakes that are not refrigerated to get that spongy, smooth taste. The chocolate cake was as expected, super moist, well made, and ofcourse the Belgian chocolate. Everyone loved it and that is an understatement given that they all try to outdo the cake game with their usual options like Whole Foods, Nothin Bundt, Asian bakers, home based bakers, etc. Millstone is now going to be preferred place for birthdays. Next time I would preorder to try out their premium options.
