One person brought the cooked baklavas (most probably from the kitchen) in open tray to the another person who was packaging meat. The person who was packaging the meat kept the open trays of baklavas on top of the meat and started packaging. The person didn't bother to was/sanitize her hands before touching the cooked food. Again another person took the packaged baklavas trays and displayed it on the payment counter and in the meantime she was arranging packaged meat on the shelves. They do not maintain any kind of hygiene. When I mentioned this at the counter she replied me that they were only packaging it and didn't bother to pay attention to the hygiene issue. Also the quality of the chicken started degrading. Last week the chicken which I bought was not of good quality. After mentioning this they didn't bother to listen. Customer service is not there at all.

The goat bryani which is normally on weekends . Its getting worse day by day . The quantity and quality has gone down . There are only bones in the bryani with inadequate quantity of rice . Please try to maintain steady quality of food as it was not the case last year.

I thought this place would be good. It looks like a hole in the wall type of place. I should have left just looking at the menu. Customer service was not great. I ordered vegetable Samosas which weren’t good and I was given ketchup instead of the original sauces. What a waste of time and gas. They could have easily gotten the sauce from the freezer since they sell frozen samosas anyway. Side note: I went to an indian store nearby and the lady wouldn’t dare try the food there and recommended going else where for good samosas and indian food.

Tried their Chicken Shawarmas, and Lemon Pepper and Sweet Thai Chilli wings. Shawarmas were fresh and wings were flavorful. Will visit again.

Their shawarma is good. They have butcher available onsite and so you can get custom cut halal chicken, goat and beef. Their flyer says they also have fish but I did not see any. They are fairly priced.

It was really good till mid of 2022 when It was operated by different owner, and I was very much satisfied buyer and was a happy customer.After Aug/Sep 2022, the quality of the chicken and meat got degraded and sometime I bought some rotten meat as well, next day I complained but did not get any positive vibes from the new people who were started operating.Now a days, most of the time I don't find any fresh chicken/meat there. Hardly I used to buy from there (when I had no more option, then I used to buy).I have shifted to another meat shop now and not only me, most of my friends with whom I used to talk they have the same review and stopped shopping from there.My recent experience is I bought a Chicken Breast packet where 2 slices of chicken breast given. After washing I clearly understood they have given a fresh pc another is very old breast chicken pc (very hard). They have stared this kind of activities as well, which I never faced with the previous owner.

I started buying meat from royal many years ago. This used to be one of best place for meat. Now with change of onsweship it became one of worst place for meat. Quality of meat went down. Also, I had one of the worst experience yesterday. I brought Goat Ribs pack, the sticker says it is ~ 1.9 LB and price is $22+. I ask them to weigh it, when they weigh, actually it is 1.4 LB and its actual price is $17+. In one pack of meat they cheat $5. If you go to Royal, make sure you are weighing the meat before bill it.

Once they take is back from weighing machine to make cuts I cannot see what is going on at the back. After coming home I realized they changed the meat. It was all breast meat. This place will deceive customers.

It used to be great ever since the ownership changed recently. Meat quality is Not even close to how it used to be before. I asked the guy there if it's still Zabiha and he had no clue what I was asking (he wasnt a Muslim). He couldn't even show me the source of meat. Highly dissatisfied

Bought sliced turkey on May 4 and noticed after buying that it had expired in April. Caught me completely off guard as I’ve rarely had this issue with stores in the US selling expired products ESPECIALLY meat. Won’t be returning to this establishment.
