We were celebrating my husband's birthday and we arrived at our appointed time and seated within minutes. We were pleased to be sat in a relatively quiet section. The waitress was very attentive and we had drinks and bread on the table rather quickly. The bread was delicious as was the steaks we had (I had prime rib and my husband had filet mignon). The steaks were cooked as requested and at the right temperature. After dinner, the waitress brought my husband a piece of delicious mocha ice cream cake. Overall it was a great experience for our first visit.

The Keg is a family favorite. Great ambiance and the food is consistently good. Steaks are typically cooked well and salads are always on point. The bread is scrumptious and they have fantastic iced tea.

The foot was very good. The service was not. The waiter forgot to write down my wife's meal. They brought me my dinner and not hers. Had a hard time getting the waiter back to get her meal. We finally got it. She loved her lobster.

Needed to remind waitstaff of bacon wrapped scallops were ordered and NOT received. Then when they were brought they were under cooked. This was evident by the proteins in the center of the scallops and barely any browning on the bacon. My guess is they scallops were not originally ordered, then when we asked about them the order was placed and 'RUSHED' to get them out. Mistakes do happen-but at least get the food prepared correct. Thanks

Everything was great except for my prime rib. Waitress asked how I would like it cooked, medium rare was selected. I received a medium well prime rib! They were super busy so I just added extra horseradish and juice. Other than that, great place.

The food was absolutely wonderful, as always. My husband I love to come here for date night. We decided to try dessert this time and oh. My. Word. So worth it! Definitely one of our go to restaurants.

My husband had the Kansas City Striploin and I had Prime Rib. Both were cooked to perfection (med rare) and EXCELLENT!!! Our waiter, Adam, made sure we were completely satisfied and checked on us appropriately. We finished the evening with Billly Miner pie...the best dessert...and freshly brewed coffee. We frequent The Keg at least once/month and will be sad when it closes next week.

Wonderful dining experience. The staff and food were top notch. So sorry they closed the Las Colinas location and closing the Plano location also. We would go to The Keg for all of our family celebrations.

I've been here many times and it is going downhill. The service was average and the food was below average last night. The prime rib was tough, over cooked and tasteless. Sadly, that is a top seller for this restaurant. The rib steak was less than what I would expect for a select cut of meat. Yes, I said select; not choice or prime, but select. It was ordered medium rare and was delivered to my table at almost room temperature or less. The steak was tough, dry, tasteless and I was not able to even eat one quarter of the steak. The cauliflower mash was chopped cauliflower that was cool to the taste and relatively raw. The filets that the family ordered were sent back for more heating. They all requested medium and we're served very rare. We waited 20 minutes for those steaks to return to the table and everyone else was almost finished before the 3 other steaks returned. Unfortunately, after years of enjoying their fine food, I will not be returning.

Unusual visit, everything was slightly off from our usual experience at The Keg. The bread was nearly frozen instead of warm, the salads arrived after the entrees, my medium rare baseball cut was medium on one end and blue rare on the other (though beautifully seared and seasoned on the outside), and my daughter received a plate of sides without her entree (the entree arrived a few minutes after everyone else had been served). The manager came by our table to apologize for the timing of everything. I'm assuming it was just a holiday rush problem; we'll definitely go back again.

Unfortunately, it was our last visit since The Keg in Plano is closing their doors in January 2023. This was our favorite "Go To" for dinner for years. How I wish it wasn't true.

Our family celebrated a Birthday on Tuesday evening. The Keg is one of our favorite places to dine. The food was very good however our appetizers were cold. The server was a real airhead!

This is NOT The Keg Restaurant I have loved for twenty years. Classic wedge salad was bitter from old lettuce and the toppings were minimal. A $13 cocktail was added to our bill that we did not order nor drink. Waitstaff seems VERY young and inexperienced with providing exceptional service. Waitstaff don't know the menu or the cocktail list. Restaurant was “out” of two sizes of steaks we tried to order. How does a steak restaurant run out of steaks on a Thursday night at 6:00??

Why are you asking me to go to another site? I shared my experience and you should pass it along!

Came here tonight before the Prestonwood show. We ordered food and 40 Minutes later, nothing. We were told sorry, they had no shrimp for shrimp cocktail and that our dinner plates were going to take another 20-35 minutes. /9 disappointing. Will never be back...
