I used to frequent the Carrollton location, but ever since the Plano location opened, I've been going there instead.Zzizzim offers a wide selection of all-time Korean comfort food. I even order lunch for my employees here sometimes. My favorite dish is the yook jeon, which consists of ribeye sliced Korean pancakes served with pajeolee, a green onion salad, and aguijjim, a spicy monkfish braised with plenty of soy sprouts. My husband loves their Korean pork BBQ and spicy squid stir fry. Thanks to Zzizzim for having such a variety of jeon (Korean pancakes) to satisfy my cravings!

Visited with my friends after passing by so many times due to curiosity. Can proudly say that I have no regrets and tried some of the best korean food in a minute. The price was reasonable and all the dishes I tried were really good. Highly recommend!

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Plano! You can't miss no matter what you order. Jacob and his staff are very courteous and never fails to provide the best service. I am so happy that this is so close to home. If you haven't tried Zzizim, you need to GO NOW.

I went to dine in for lunch yesterday and was not disappointed! Our server, Jinju, was so welcoming and gave great recommendations. I will definitely be back!

Delicious food, fantastic service, and great atmosphere. We got the spicy seafood thick noodles, spicy stir-fried chicken, and small assorted pancakes. Everything was just delicious, but my favorite had to be the spicy stir-fried chicken. The dish came in a cast iron pan, and the chicken itself was so moist. Goes well with rice as it soaks up the delicious sauce. In addition to the food, the service was amazing. Was greeted well when arriving, and food came fast. Even when there was a button to press for what we needed, the servers would stop by just to check up.Plenty of parking when arrived. Near a police station, so it's safe too. This place was really big and it has lots of different rooms. We were seated in a cut-off room, and the decor is sorta fancy, but nice. The restrooms are really clean, too.Overall, I recommend this place. We came on a Sunday so there was no wait at all. I will definitely go back and try other dishes.

We got the beef pancake, spicy beef noodle soup, beef and soft tofu stew, and a grilled pork belly. Everything tasted very delicious and was very flavorful. Excellent customer service. The portion sizes were big, so we had plenty of leftovers for another meal.

Great service and clean. The food wasnt that great. Jampong was just all soup with very little noodles and seafood. It only came with 2 pieces of shrimp and 7 pieces of squid. No clams? Also it was on the salty side. This was my first time here to try out a new place so not sure about other dishes.

Surprised the Banchan was provided without Kimchi. The food here was fresh, quality and rich in flavor, but a little pricey.

i love how spacious and clean the space is. they seem to be pretty new. food wise, surprisingly enough, the best thing that we had here was the beef fried rice! we ordered the beef fried rice because i had never seen it on a korean menu before and wanted to see what it would taste like and oh wow they definitely hit the nail flavor wise. honestly better than the fried rice at a lot of other chinese places. i was pretty excited to try the beef pancake because i've never had it before. I did like the beef pancake, it tastes pretty simple and homemade but because of that i think this dish is something that i can whip up at home and get similar flavors to so i dont think this was quite worth it for the price. i found the pork to be quite sweet and not spicy at all which was pretty disappointing.

First time here, it seems they recently opened! The interior is super spacious, clean, and new, which is very nice. We ordered the sweet potato pancake, seafood soondooboo soup, and the LA Galbi ribs. We really liked the pancake, it was crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. It was super addicting to eat! The LA Galbi was also pretty good, I would say it is lighter on the seasoning, but after letting it sizzle on the plate and cool, the flavors became much stronger. The cut they use is a little less fatty, so it is a bit tougher. Decently sized portion however! We weren't huge fans of the side dishes and the soondooboo. As other reviews have mentioned, this place tastes a bit more like home cooking, so the flavors are not very strong. This was very apparent in the side dishes. The soondooboo had a generous amount of tofu and seafood, but we felt there wasn't much broth and it also wasn't that spicy or too strong on flavor. Service was awesome, all the staff were super friendly and fast! Overall, really enjoyed their pancakes, and the Galbi was pretty good too! I would say the food is lighter on flavor, which was not our cup of tea, but may be better for different people too.

TLDR: Everything tasted bland. The server only showed her face once when she took our order. No one ever came by once to check on us to see how we were doing and how the food was.- Stir fried platter, soggy, lukewarm and bland.- Jjamppong, not spicy at all and bland.- Stir fried pork, smallest portion in town, 30/70 pork and veggies ratio, 30 being pork. For $24.99, what a great deal! Also kind of bland.- Stir fried squid, smallest portion in town, 30/70 squid and veggies ratio, 30 being squid. For $24.99, what a great deal! Also kind of bland.- Side dishes, all of them were bland.- The only dish that had flavors was Yukgaejang.- Also with the 20% gratuity, I would expect the server to come by to check on us at least once, especially we showed up during dinner hours, not right before closing. There were other tables but it wasn’t like jam packed and the servers were running around couldn’t catch a break. Our server only showed her face once when she took our order. Maybe because she knew the tips were guaranteed and she didn’t even bother. Because why do more work when you can do less, amirite? As someone who had worked in the service industry throughout college, I think I know a thing or two about the restaurant biz. I would rate this below mediocre, and I’m not sure why it has so many good reviews (?). Maybe we came on an off day, but 10/10 will not come back considering how bad the food is and the lack of service.
