You have to try the Arrogato! It's expresso with two scoops of gelato!! I tried the pistachio and crème brûlée gelato. Oh my gosh it was amazing! The variety of panni's are scrumptious. You can't go wrong with gelato and expresso!! Deby G

Coffee, iced, hot, blended(train), sugar free low carb options, fast helpful staff, consistent, can earn points for free coffee, visited three time during this trip. Haven't tried gelato but looks yummy with around 12 flavors to choose from, food options too. A definite favorite of ours. Love the old world feel of the decor.

Not a coffee drinker, so just stopped in for some lunch to go. My wife steers clear of dairy, so they told us the lunch paninis were pre-made,and removing the cheese would take away other ingredients, but they were able to more easily modify the breakfast ones. She got the ham and egg panini, and I opted for the Turkey. Both were good; not the best I've had and, certainly nowhere close to the worst. The fact they're pre-made affects it a little? At any rate, it was still a solid choice. We also got a bag of peanut butter energy balls. They forgot to put them in our bag. But we caught that before we walked out. Lots of muffins, small cakes, and gelato options. Obviously, lots of coffee choices as well. Friendly staff and very casual atmosphere with ample seating.

I always love to come to Coffee Waves when I'm in Port A in the off season (February.) After we purchased two large mochas, we noticed the gelato bin. When I asked for help from one of the three servers standing around to sample a flavor, I was told that it was policy to purchase a cup before I could get a sample. Having just made a purchase, I asked to speak to the manager. He said that it was policy when they were busy. There was not a single person in line when he told me he would give me a sample if I made another purchase. Got the sample and decided I would not be purchasing or coming back. Bad customer service that turn potential repeat customers away.

Taking a long weekend in Port Aransas when it's not the summer - needed to start the morning with coffee! Yelp highly rated this place and I see why - great meeting space, lots of coffee options including sugar free syrups, and a large assortment of pastries, sandwiches and gelato. Place had the typical assortment of folks: locals, people getting some work done and tourists. Good mix! Came back later that evening for gelato and wasn't dispppointed. :)
The best peppermint coconut milk latte I've ever had-their espresso is amazing! Really tasty

If you're visiting Port A and you're concerned because there isn't a coffee place on every corner... I've found your place. The coffee is great, they l have plenty of flavors - sugar free flavors as well! They also have gelato so if you need a coffee - the kids have an option as well! They have fun shirts & cups for purchase so you can take all the vibes home with you. There is plenty of seating and those working were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Ordered a breakfast, egg and cheese on a croissant and it was delicious. The cheese had the perfect melt and the eggs were just right. I got a Yuzu hot tea, which was also yummy. The muffins look like regular muffins, but they are so incredibly delicious. We ended up getting a blueberry muffin that had a cream filling on the inside, and it was divine. The service was great. There's also a decent amount of room to sit and eat. It was a little too early for me to get some gelato, but there are so many gelato flavors! I will most probably be back to try their gelato!
