“Finally had the opportunity to go to Tia Juanita's in Port Arthur last evening. We were seated quickly, offered watered promptly and given a chance to order. There is so very much to chose from so it took a while! ?. Once orders were made, it did take a few, but this was understood since the restaurant was full. We ordered the boudain balls which was really a treat. Our food came shortly after and my what a presentation. I ordered the Trio Tacos, blackened and they were amazing! My friends dishes were just as appealing. Although quite filled, we shared a bread pudding, my friend insisted. Pleasant evening, great food/service was enjoyed. The only issue was as the evening wore on the music was turned up quite a bit, which made it difficult to hear one another. Otherwise everything else was perfect...“
“Big Doobie’s cracklins are THE BEST in the Golden Triangle area. Heck I’ll even say, his are the best I have ever eaten, and I order cracklins where ever they’re available. If you’re not from this area and want some good cracklins, Big Doobie’s is where you’ll find them.Also, he sells out pretty quickly at the end of the day, so if you know you want ‘em, call ahead and he’ll put some back for ya. He’s a super great guy.Parking: Due to the amount of folks flocking to Big Doobie’s, it is sometimes difficult to get a spot to park right a way. Sometimes you have to wait for someone to leave, but it is definitely worth the wait.“

Amber and Dameion are very attentive and always keep me company with several beers and their amazing personalities. They are always happy to serve me and make sure I am well taken care of the whole time I am here. “Very good food but I just ordered some food at 6 o’clock Friday night 8 October the girl was very sweet at first when she answered the phone but then she got very hateful every time I call In the same little girl gets hateful she needs to check her attitude before I come in person and check her attitude for her only reason I gave you a good review is because yawls food is good but your personnel your employees need to check their attitudes little young girl I don’t know who she is what her name is but she better check her attitude next time I call In she will be seeing me in person“

“I'll need to get photos the next time I visit. On Thursday nights they sometimes do karaoke. I don't sing but I enjoy watching the folks sing. Some folks really know how to put on a good show. There's a waiter there who is a phenomenal singer. Don't know his name but wow..... That guy may need to try out at AGT or something like that. The food right now is more Mexican than Cajun but I am happy the new owners are taking a chance on the place and trying new things. Give this place a shot I'm sure you will not be disappointed.“
“Last week I tried this place for the first time. Our servers name was Bree. Bree was kind, not rushed, helpful, sincere, and polite. Her service made the experience better and the place was already nice. The food was yummy, I had the fried shrimp. Delicious - tasted like shrimp. What's that mean?
