Gumbo was horrible taste and looked like it came from a can. Actually it looked and smell like dog food wish I didn't have to give it a star

TERRIBLE experience!!!!! I wouldn't even give it 1 star!!!! First and LAST time to visit this restaurant.We got there at 706pm. They close at 800. We are pretty fast eaters so thought we would be out before closing. Ordered Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer and water for our drinks. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Mustard Greens. My husband ordered Beef Tips, Rice/Gravy and Mustard Greens. Got our appetizer, that wasn't even good, by the way....at about 754 waitress came and refilled our waters and told us it wouldn't be much longer. Came back a minute later and asked what our sides were. Then a lady came.out of the kitchen at 756 and said, "I'm sorry, your ticket didn't print so we never got your order to prepare your food. If you come back tomorrow, your food will be free.".........Ummmm, other than us, there were only one other couple dining in. That should have been our sign. There were only 2 waitresses there - both knew we were there because they both came to the table and waited on us. The lady that came out and told us that "our ticket didn't print" had been in and out of the kitchen, four times that I can recall and saw.us there as well....With or without a ticket and only one other couple dining in, they knew we were waiting on food!!!!!!

Most uncomfortable experience I've ever had at a restaurant, don't usually care to leave reviews but felt like me being there was an inconvenience, was rushed even though I was there an hour before closing Nothing like the commercial except at Bridge City location which was a delight

Had worse experience at this restaurant, tried to order gumbo but there wasn't any, tried to order barbeque crabs but did not have that either. Also cook was threatening to shut off grill early so she would not have to cook anymore.

The OISD retired teachers enjoyed our dinner tonight. The food was delicious and LeRea and Koby were exceptional servers. We highly recommend this place for future dinners....all 21 people want to come back!

Food is good. The service is horrible. Didnt get a refill the entire meal. And had to chase the waitress down for dessert and the check. Which would have been understandabke had it been busy. But there were 3 tables occupied

Awesome service, great food. Tried the grilled chicken and it was great. I would also recommend the beef tips and gravey as well as the chicken and dumplins. My wife loves the gumbo as well. stop by and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

This is a hidden treasure in the least expected place... The food is gourmet level prices are fair and the waitress was outstanding... You don't know what you're missing if you don't stop at Grandma's every time you're in the area... I highly recommend it it's one of my new favorite places to stop
