I love Taiyo! Service is always quick and kind, and the food is so so good. By far the best sushi in Port Lavaca! Stop by if you’re passing through town or looking to try something new. I’m very fond of the Tsunami and Texas rolls!
Wow! We love the small town of PL, but had no idea we would find such big sushi love here, a must go! Chef, food, service, KINDNESS AND FRIENDLINESS unsurpassed ? sushi and sashimi were truly outstanding. Already planning many trips back for the pad thai, the fried rice, the pho, and as well a giant boat of sushi ?yep, hooked ?

Definitely the best overall food experience I had while in Port Lavaca. Every dish came out quick and looking picture-worthy. The spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer was the highlight, but then again everything I ate was a highlight.
