Food was good. We arrived about 45 minutes from closing time so we were one of the only tables in the dining room but it took a long time to get our food and service was just OK. They were probably busy with the closing duties. Margarita was terrible. Would go back though and would recommend.

Definitely some great Comfort Food! Staff was friendly and knew the menu well. Food was fresh and delicious. The desserts looked amazing… too! Will definitely be back next time I am in Port Lavaca! Thanks for a great lunch!

Food was decently priced with quite a bit of selection. However my side selection of macaroni was cold ..as in just out of the cooler and my baked potato was not even hot enough to melt the soft butter on top. The whole dinner was basically just warm. Not what I expected.

I use trip advisor for all of our travels. We wanted to eat in Port Lavaca because we were there and we did not want fast food. I read previous reviews and was bot sure about going. We went anyways. It wasn’t bad at all. The service was fine, the food was good and it was a calm place to eat. I hate ordering chicken out because sometimes it doesn’t get cooked all the way. Well I cleaned my plate and so did everyone else.

We waited over 10 minutes (in a half full restaurant) and NEVER did a waitress come to our table. The wait staff was all around us serving, cleaning tables, and just walking around. WE MUST HAVE BEEN INVISIABLE! When we started to leave the gentleman who seated us wanted to know why, so I told him. Instead of an apology and getting a waitress to take our order, he made endless excuses all of which were bogus. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE. RUDENESS IS INTOLERABLE NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE FOOD MAY BE.
