I got charged almost 12 bucks for a bean burrito and on line it says 5.75. I have been coming from Conroe for awhile, but I will never go back.

We appreciate El Ranchero for hosting our post concert performances and always kindly, quickly and with a smile on their faces serving such a large group! The 1 review from someone not affliated with Kingwood Pops does not reflect our organization's thoughts on El Ranchero! We give El Ranchero 5 stars for food, service, customer service!

Google won't allow me to do this, but my true overall rating is a 0/5 stars. And here's why:*Deep inhale and exhale, shuddered as a sigh*I've been going through a LOT lately. But tonight, as a gathering amongst fellow, professional, Musicians... That choice of a restaurant...? Was traumatizing! I was probably the LAST of our party to leave, but I know I did courageous things, and will continue to do so...1. I got up and went STRAIGHT to the awful dj, letting him know, as a fellow person interested in potentially Disc Jockeying, but more importantly, AS A MUSICIAN who VALUES their ability to HEAR a fellow MUSICIAN sitting quite literally, NEXT TO THEM, the volume was TOO LOUD! I asked him POLITELY to SLIGHTLY turn down the NOISE coming out of HIS equipment. He understood me, and pretty much told me I have to speak to management! I looked at his EMPTY tip jar, and was NOT surprised!2. I proceeded to the entrance of this "under construction" establishment. I was looking for the "manager", who apparently can't "manage" to do anything, other than disappoint this "commUNITY!"However, along the way, the "Workers" who actually Care about their customers, gave GREAT Customer SERVICE!!! I've been there! I've done that! And I KNOW that they don't get PAID what they DESERVE! To THEM, I apologize for literally not leaving a single CENT in "GRATUITY". Yet, I did hunt down, thank, and showed EVERY piece of gratitude in ways that I felt were MORE relevant than any dollar amount I could have afforded.3. Speaking of dollars and what I can "afford", the food was HIGHLY OVERPRICED and completely OVERRATED!!! Yes, this is Kingwood, but I believe in Wallet Activism. I walked in with a bottle of water and a MEAL I had previously prepared for myself. As a "Business", they have FAILED!!! I've heard of this place, and how much people USED to love it. I was looking forward to a CONTINUED "enjoyable experience".4. As this was my VERY FIRST experience of this establishment, I LITERALLY compared it to HELL!!!5. I would LITERALLY rather do (almost) ANYTHING than experience this establishment again. When ONE person "takes a stand", and voices their "Complaints", take note. The Kingwood Pops Orchestra shall NEVER dine at this establishment ever again!Vegetarian options: I can neither confirm, nor deny, if the refried beans that came on my plate had ANIMAL LARD in it! After nearly being the LAST person to order, because I SCOURED that menu for something I could potentially eat, I realized a mistake made by my Spanish speaking waitress. I spoke to her, en Español, with the help of the Google Translate app. She did not point out that my entree CAME WITH 2 sides. One of them was the refried beans. The other was rice, of which I would have preferred never to have eaten. I explained to her, en Español, that I wanted a VEGAN meal. ("Soy vegano") I can neither confirm, nor deny, if that was accomplished!Dietary restrictions: If you have "dietary restrictions" RUN in the opposite direction!!! The "manager" of the establishment didn't seem interested in what I had to say, so you can only imagine what the "Cook" in the "Kitchen" may, or may not, have cross contaminated!Kid-friendliness: DON'T BRING YOUR KIDS HERE!!! They'll go deaf!Granted, tonight was a Saturday night ("Karaoke Night"). But after what I experienced (and witnessed!), I would NEVER recommend a child having to go through what I went through. I was traumatized! I'm an Adult with autonomy, courage, and a voice of my own. I voiced SOME of the complaints of the Kingwood Pops Orchestra, and friends, who did not have the energy to voice to The "manager of the establishment". We were ALL exhausted, yet looking forward to our RESERVATION, of time and space, to come together and enjoy a meal in commUNITY. W

Food was disappointing, everything looked good but was so weirdly bad fajitas tasted like bologna but in away made me think I was eating a lunchable enchiladas with uncooked tortillas raw with yellow sandwich cheese you can taste the tortilla still crudas but the only thing I think was good was the lemonade and service on point ? my experience

Food was disgusting. Their cheese was incredibly bland was the worst offender. Incredibly greasy too. Red sauce was good tho.
