Was so excited to find a place that serves Egg Foo Young on the menu this side of the bridge, I know it's old school but one of our favorites! Unfortunately we were so disappointed. Not light and fluffy but overcooked and greasy. The wonton and egg drop soup was nothing special either. The flavors were bland and mediocre. These are off the menu items not the buffet, chicken wings were a bit overcooked and flavorless, so disappointing. And this is why we don't go out much lol! Seems to be the norm these days

I don't understand the bad reviews here I think the food is pretty decent especially for Portland. The hibachi chicken is delicious and they have a pretty good selection. The sushi definitely is sus and I stay away from that, but aside from that this place is solid for decent Chinese.

Food had no flavor. Signs on the wall if you don't mind at all your food you're being charged extra. Had to eat food that was nasty with no flavor to avoid being charged for not eating food that was nasty. This place used to be really good and delicious. It's trash now.

You expecting a good local buffet place? Stay away from this one. Service was good but, when it comes to food, everything was either cold or taste like it was reheated. Given the signs that are being hung around limiting you to waste I’d say they reheat the food from yesterday or pre cook to save money/time. The atmosphere is dirty while a lot of the furniture is scratched or withered. But furniture is least of the problem cause there appears to be mold or some sort of stain on the ceiling. Besides that, the utensils we were give one of the forks I had still had rice in between and water marks on my spoon. Clearly hygiene is not top priority of this place.My recommendation is spend the gas money and head to any buffet in Corpus or go to a sit down restaurant like Poseidon or Hu-dat.
