I tried them several times and several dishes and was always disappointed. The food is over salted and overpriced. The staff aren’t very friendly. I asked to swap celery with carrot and the waitress wanted to charge me 4 dollars for it! This happened two times and they only removed the charge when I pointed it out that it was not an add on but a swap! They also charge a card fee on top of the already overpriced food. I haven’t been back there in months since and rather drive to Corpus to get my Asian food.

It is the worst food I ever had. I ordered Ramen noodle soup. However, I got instant noddles in the soup instead of real Ramen. I could pick one from Walmart and add some hot water on my own. This is absolutely not acceptable. I will never go to this restaurant again.

I just had dinner with my Grandmother and everything was spectacular!!!! Our appetizers and entrees came out super quick. All of the ingredients were so fresh and delicious. What we ordered:Crab rangoons, egg drop soup, garlic edamame, shaken beef, jalapeno shrimp, yaki-udon. I also really appreciated the large cups of water provided! My only wish is that I could have ordered an alcoholic drink or glass of wine!!! Bring a sweater it’s bit chilly inside. We can’t wait to go there again!!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Everything was so good, so authentic, we tried the pho, Vietnamese curry, ginger fish and all of the dishes were delicious and super filling. Really cute place too, the whole environment is so nice!

To start off I've given this place a try 3 times to try different dishes before I wrote this review and I've decided all in all, it's kinda pricey but great Vietnamese cuisine especially for being in Portland. The pho was great! Possibly a competition with my top 5 pho joints in Houston, surprisingly (big competition out there). Double meat is a must although I wish they'd offer tendon. Anyways, it saves me a trip to Corpus for my pho craving (I used to frequent Lei's Kitchen) Second time around I've tried their beef chow fun noodles to-go. Again pricey compared to Houston prices and the noodles of their choice was 7/10. However I was content given their method of packing to-go was a nice bowl container that could be microwaved. Lastly I went there a third time to try canh chua (sweet and sour soup on their menu) and paired it with ca kho (braised fish I believe was what it was called on their menu). Neither was nothing to write home about however it was decent enough. The interior was nice and there was a bunch of people at 1pm on a Monday so I hope it continues to stay consistent or get better with everything. Happy eating!

We were the only people in the restaurant and all the workers were talking at a table. I had to use the restroom after ordered but the male restroom was locked. After waiting for a few minutes I asked an employee if they just keep the restroom doors locked but she said no. The hostess knew I was waiting for a long time but chose to ignore me. After our food was served my wife unlocked the door with a coin and nobody was in the restroom so we packed our full plates to leave without a tip.

Great service, excellent food. Prepared to order so it worth the wait. Not your typical Asian restaurant, with a slightly different menu offering than Hu Dat. I would gladly return.

This is the place we bring our clients and guests, but also for date night. The food is beautiful and amazing. The flavors are balanced and textures are perfection. I have tried something different at every visit, and so far liked everything. This is well above an ordinary restaurant.Their "Nest" is a work of art and delicious, and their Yaki-Udon is so very good too; however, I just tried the Ginger Cod and it may be my new favorite. Also, the portions are big, so I usually take some home.
