“The chilada that i got was really good but way tooo many olives. the taco salad was really good. employees were nice and refilled our drinks. manager was a real cool guy also. Get the sweet tea. It was really good. I enjoyed it a lot and the employees were nice enough togive multiple refills. The bean burrito was also really good.“

“My wife and I swung by this DQ for afternoon treats today.The young man who took our order was very professional and friendly. He listened to my order and made sure to add extra malt flavor to the chocolate malt!I also chatted about dogs with the manager after she made our Mint Brownie Blast Blizzard (delicious BTW) while he made our chocolate malt - she was lovely and very affable. Highly recommend all around!“

“While out thrifting and antiquing, we ran across this little roadside burger joint. Pop pop burgers is a little building off the side of the road with plenty of parking. Walking into a diner style restaurant and up to the boat-converted-to-counter to order off a well displayed menu with lots of choices. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. The restaurant was clean and tables were wiped down immediately as people left. Food came out very quickly and everything was absolutely delicious! Those tots were so hot, crispy and perfect! This little place was so good, that if I'm craving a burger and I'm anywhere near Azle, this will be my go to!“

“The food was amazing! It was made when ordered so the fries were hot and the hamburger patties were hot but my pickles were cold! It's in a gas station, but it was well worth the price and it was inexpensive to boot! Def will be back!“

“Delivered an Amazon package here along my route and asked the manager whats good, and she said fish tacos and brisket tacos, brisket is smoked in house. Me personally, I never had brisket tacos, so I thought I would try it out.The food is better than I thought, and the manager was super nice. She made sure my order came out first, as I had a busy day in front of me.I'm not used to a bar/lounge atmosphere, so I don't really know how to rate that. I will say that you have to get past the smell of cigarettes if you want to dine in. Otherwise, I would just be ordering pickup. I would NOT recommend bringing children in the restaurant.“

“What a pleasant surprise! This spot is past Azle, TX off 199, so if you are in the area, do stop by. There were already a couple of hungry folks in line when I entered. A very nice young lady greeted me when it was my turn to order. She answered all my questions, and I ordered a large burger, "freedom sauce" on the side, fries, onion rings (may as well try both, LOL!), and a walnut brownie all to go. I sat at one of the picnic tables inside while I waited. It was not a long wait, considering the fact there were about 4 folks ahead of me. It's actually very easy to miss this spot as it is very small, so look for the sign along 199. GPS brought me straight to it. I saw the sign before I realized the tiny building was the burger joint. Since I was heading home, I got my order to go. Seating is limited inside and I didn't notice any outdoor seating. The burgers were so good, I don't care that it's mostly a takeout spot. Scarfing a yummy burger in front of some streaming show on my TV is one of my happy places. It's always nice to find a "mom & pop" shop that has good food and service. I enjoyed all my food, but especially the burger and onion rings! I look forward to visiting this spot again. They offer a variety of burgers and a small Thai menu. Another patron was ordering some Thai food - I'll have to try that next.“

“This place is amazing!! Seriously the BBQ was excellent!! I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews but decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did!! The staff was very sweet and friendly!! The price was affordable in my opinion!! If you havent been then try it!! Dont let someone elses opinion possibly ruin a chance at one of your new favs!! We will definitely be returning!!
