Very frustrating experience. Ordered 4 shawarmas online at 6:45 PM. I got an automated text saying they would be ready at 7:15-7:25. I walked in at 7:40 and was told they’d still be another 5 minutes — and he claimed that “it was a very busy day.” But there was nobody in store and only two people came by to pick up orders during the 30 minutes that I stood there. I finally got my food at 8:00 PM, *15 min after iftar.* If it was going to take so long they should’ve communicated beforehand so we could cancel. The guy at the counter wasn’t even apologetic or explaining properly — just kept mumbling and throwing his hands up. It should absolutely not take such a long time for 4 BASIC CHICKEN SHAWARMAS. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or just slow & unprofessional but this was completely unacceptable and I will not be recommending anyone to come here anymore, unless they have an hour and a half to wait around for their food.

I specifically paid for extra protein and I specifically asked for no sauce, no jalapeño, and no tomatoes. None of these requests were respected. I was never allowed even a partial refund (via Uber) for Abu Omar’s mistake.

For what its worth, its one of better chicken shawarma in the area, that being said, the shawarma felt too greasy, like it needs more cooking. Took over 15 mins to make one sandwich. The branch in Arlington taste significantly better.

Not gonna lie, for the price and the general portions this place is not worth it. If you want to keep your money in your pocket I would go somewhere else.

Food was tolerable but you can find better tasting options for the price we paid. There was no service, even after tipping. Our items came out at different times and we were told to come pick them up ourselves each time. We started on the first couple of items and then were told the next couple were ready. We asked if they could come bring the rest of our order as we were already eating and were completely ignored. The restaurant had a foul odor in the dining area. We had to find a table where the smell wouldn't bother us.
