Says they're open online, did an online order, got there and lo and behold, they're closed(On Sunday Lunchtime), update your hours. Going to dispute the charges.

Wonderful food; very well flavored! By far, the best Ethiopian restaurant we've tried in the metroplex. Love this place!

Food is okay. I’ve placed online delivery orders and it has never been right. They literally get the order wrong every time and one time they had to cancel my order because they gave it to the wrong person. They’re rude and crass you can sense that by how disrespectful they are when they reply to reviews. There are way better options for Ethiopian food if you don’t wanna put up with terrible attitudes

I do NOT recommend this restaurant to others. The food is not tasty and service is down the drain. My First and last!. They have lack of handling a situation in other word lack of customer services. The funniest thing is both the owner aswell the witress hung up the phone on my Ear when I tried to solve this matter. So I will not recommend this place at all .

In fairness, I hadn't had Ethiopian food before this visit so I can't compare to other Ethiopian places. However, the food was AMAZING! We got the veggie combo with lots of lentils, cabbage, etc and Addis Abeba tibs. The service was great too and the gal was very patient and helpful. Oh, and the iced tea was delish too!

I went there with a friend around 6pm on a Saturday evening in the first week of September 2023. The first thing we noticed was that there was nobody else in the place. However, even though we were the only party in the place, the service was extremely slow. Soon it became evident that there were only 2 members of staff there, who doubled as both cooks and servers. We ordered our food, which though tasting decent, was soaked in a deep pool of red oil in my case, and yellow oil in hers. As she is a trained chef, she admonished me to pour out that unhealthy grease, which she identified as the butter described on the menu, believe it or not. We were each supplied a spoon but no knife and folk, which I prefer to use in the absence of the opportunity to wash my hands thoroughly before plunging them in the moist injera. The meat cut in small pieces, was adequately tender, and the salt barely perceptible, which is how I prefer it. There was a small side of collard greens on the injera as well, that was decently cooked. The drama started when the time to pay came. The menu, which is discovered by scanning the barcode on the table, stipulates that first time orders get a 15% discount. This claim is overlaid prominently above the pictures on the menu, and when I brought it up, both cook and server disavowed and refused to honour it. I pointed out that was this unethical and constituted a bait and switch. The two members of staff absolutely and adamantly refused to budge. We paid the enormous bill, and I even added a small tip suspecting that these two Ethiopian women were victims of the tactics of the owner of the establishment. When I demanded a copy of the actual receipt that I signed, they refused to give to me, giving the initial declarative receipt, which has no fields for adding the tips and tallying the total. As we were walking out, it became evident why the patronage was so low: not only do the business practises of this establishment leave much to be desired, but the food is grossly overpriced, probably to compensate for the lack of customers and supply the overheads.Either way, I do not recommend this place, and will never ever go back to it. I now understand why the Ethiopian restaurant, a few miles away on Greenville and Forest Lane is doing so much better than this one. I suspect that everyone is fed up with the shenanigans of Addis Abeba restaurant

This was my first time eating here and I wasn't disappointed. We got the veggie plate and it came with the floppy bread (can't remember what it's called). I was confused that no silverware came with that particular dish - you use the bread to eat the food so that was fun. Everything was delicious and I recommend this place (and the veggie plate!)
