I’ve been coming to Amigos for years and it’s always a good time. Their food is great, and so are their margaritas. I enjoyed the band they had on Friday night when I went. The service can be slow at times, but it’s otherwise always a good choice.Vegetarian options: Their veggie enchiladas are great!Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids menu and high chairs.
This place is a hidden gem in Richardson. Fantastic staff, great happy hour, a nice patio and bar; it's one to visit for sure.

We were intrigued by Facebook posts about their Saturday "Tejano Night." We drove about 30 mins to Richardson, only to get there and see that no one was dancing. The "DJ" must have been in the rest room for the whole hour and a half we were there, cause he had the music on autoplay. There was a $30 consumption minimum (which they continously reiterated) to sit in the "music" section. The food was typical bland unseasoned tex-mex, the service was there (that's about the only positive thing I can say about our server was that he showed up for work that day). Definitely a first and a last time.

This place is right behind my home and it's super convenient for me to go to. I loveeeeee their ceviche tostadas which I don't think appears on the menu. Staff is friendly and food is ready in no time.

I will return for margaritas on the patio, but I won't order food. Really nice staff, but when I didn't care for the spinach enchiladas (sauteed spinach and onion slices wrapped in a corn tortilla). There was no offer to replace, but offered to box it up for me. So I bought two entrees, neither of which I can recommend. My next choice, spinach tamales had no spinach at all! Bottom line, Vegetarian Tex-Mex offerings are better from their cousin's place, Dos Arroyos. The salsa, the vegie enchiladas, vegie tamales, and chili relleno are all favorites there in Canyon Creek area of Richardson.

I just adore this place! The atmosphere is wonderful. There's so much space and I have never waited very long, if at all to be seated. The queso and the salsa are incredible.
