recently had the pleasure of dining at Bilad Restaurant & Bakery in Richardson, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! As an Iraqi spot serving delicious Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, Bilad truly stands out.During my visits, I tried both the beef and chicken shawarma, and they were some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The perfectly seasoned meat, combined with their freshly baked Iraqi bread, made each bite a delight. Their mouthwatering spicy sauce added an extra kick of flavor. The restaurant was bustling on a Saturday afternoon, and although we had to wait a bit for a table, it was well worth it. The friendly staff greeted us with smiles, making us feel right at home. No wonder Bilad made it onto D Magazine’s 2023 List of 50 Best Restaurants in Dallas! And here’s a bonus: Bilad offers vegetarian options and serves halal meat. So whether you’re a meat lover or prefer plant-based dishes, you’ll find something to satisfy your cravings. If you’re in Richardson, don’t miss out on this gem. Bilad Bakery & Restaurant is a must-visit for foodies seeking authentic flavors and exceptional service. ??For more information, you can check out their website here. Enjoy your dining experience at Bilad! ??️
Local family owned business, very very, very good food, and it is made fresh in front of you. Authentic Iraqi food, if you try one of their Shawarmas, be sure to get the Iraqi bread

Called to ask about the price of a falafel, a little kid answered me and said we are closed, then I asked again and then a lady picked up the phone, the lady then proceeded to tell me they are closed and ignored my questions on a possible catering order and prices of one, told me to call tomorrow and kept repeating that while continuing to ignore my question or statement , unprofessional and ignorant.

A really good Iraqi spot serving delicious middle eastern/mediterranean food in Richardson! I’ve been twice. I think it’s some of the best shawarma I’ve tried. I had beef and chicken shawarma! I also liked their falafel. For both visits, we went on a Saturday afternoon. Really busy. We had to wait a bit for a table. Worth the wait!Found this spot on D Magazine’s 2023 List of 50 Best Restaurants in Dallas!
"Hands down the best chicken shawarma spot in town! Every bite of their perfectly seasoned chicken and their freshly baked Iraqi bread is perfect. Their mouthwatering spicy sauce is great as well! But what sets this place apart is their exceptional service. The staff always greet you with a smile, making you feel right at home. I go here once a week when I can
