They have recently changed their menu. It does help speed up the order process. I had the garlic shrimp and it was excellent. The place is clean and modern looking.

Like another review said the recent menu change was a massive drop in quality. Were regulars at chard and after trying the new menu twice can say we wont be coming back unless it changes again. Everything is worse.

Apparently the ownership changed. We ordered the teriyaki chicken and bao buns. The chicken teriyaki was not hot. It was very poor quality. The chicken and vegetables must have been cooked much earlier in the day. The bao buns were just okay. They do not offer beef anymore. The chicken is a major step down from the previous quality. We were regulars at Char'd. We won't be returning after wasting our money on expensive, low quality food. Very disappointing.

[11/2023] everything was tasty and food was good value.I thought not having a physical menu, equipped with two broken menu monitors out of four, and unable to order from the cashier was a missed opportunity. It looked like there was some type of cash register available but she directed us to order from the occupied monitors or from phones. Their website was still under construction. The restaurant seemed decently clean but some tables weren’t clean. They only had two people working on this night. The restaurant’s façade looks like they spent a lot of money. The restaurant wasn’t busy. I hope this restaurant succeeds.

Take-out, ordered online. Their spring rolls were huge, the chicken chunks were dry, and the wrapper was like plastic. The peanut sauce was 1/4 of what was needed for 2 extra large spring rolls, but it was good.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Char's restaurant. The availability of vegan options and the option to create a custom bowl was a major highlight. The spring rolls were delicious and served as a perfect appetizer. The atmosphere was cool and inviting, creating a pleasant dining environment. What truly stood out was the top-notch service – the staff was attentive and accommodating throughout the meal. I highly recommend Char's for a great dining experience with excellent vegan choices and impeccable service.

The edamame is cold and hardly seasoned, the chicken is dry and has less flavor than Walmart deli chicken, and the gyoza taste like it was made with old cabbage. Absolutely loved this place but the new update is horrible and I will not be returning.

I wasn't sure what to expect as i have heard mixed reviews. I am glad i finally stopped in and will be back to try more items. I really liked the ambiance as it was cute and clean. The food was pretty simple but overall pretty good. I ordered the Vietnamese grilled pork with egg roll and had the fish sauce and peanut sauce. I think the fish sauce could have been stronger but the peanut sauce was pretty good. My complaint is this feels like toned down asian food, for an American pallet. I love the fusion but give me strong, authentic flavors. My best friend is Vietnamese so I've had really good home cooked Vietnamese foods and sauces and just wanted a bit more from this. The pork was cooked well and was decently flavorful. The folks that worked here didn't interact with me a whole lot but were decently friendly and prepared the food quickly. I would like to give 3.5 stars but since that isnt an option, ill round up to 4. This is one of the better options in Cityline- plus good portions and prices.

This place is clean, quick, and delicious! It offers a variety of different plates. My favorite at the moment is the special fried rice with brown rice and chicken, but their other bowls are just as yummy. Make sure to get an extra egg with any bowl you buy!

Food was so delicious! Flavors were great. Really friendly staff helped us and served us quickly. I’ll definitely come back and recommend! #1, Nom Fries, Drink and Tip was about $30.

Had lunch here with my cousin and they were delicious. We both got the #3 Bibimbap. I got a Bahn Mi sandwich with chicken for later. Would definitely come here again.
