We are weekly consumers of authentic Chinese food. My wife is a Hong Kong/Kowloon native, so great tasting & well prepared authentic Chinese food is very important to us & a delightful encounter, especially in the North Dallas suburbs. Golden JoyBBQ hits that mark with us. We had a variety of Dim sum, flat noodles with beef & classic sweet & sour pork. All of it was very good & fresh.
Afford food with large quantities! Menu is similar to any other Chinese restaurant but their flavoring is great, not overly salty but not bland either.There BBQ pork is delicious and soft, not hard like some other Chinese BBQ places.I also ordered a combination fried rice, dry fried beef noodles, beef sate sauce, and lemongrass fish fillet. Everything was delicious! I 100% recommend them and I'll definitely be coming back for more!

I was still on the quest to look for the elusive good dim sum place in DFW and this place is the best I've found so far. The restaurant was a little old, so it probably had some history. The dim sum cart ladies were friendly and showed me the kind of dim sum they had in the cart. Overall the dim sum were very solid and decent, but they were not at the same level as the dim sum restaurants in California, Vancouver or New York.
