My experience was terrible and I am reviewing out of concern for anyone else that might order from here. Overall our party will not be returning and will persuade others to do the same. The waitress was nice and patient with us.In terms of food, we ordered enough that I think we can accurately rate the quality:- Sushi was WARM and GUMMY.I am legitimately worried about whether or not I will get food poisoning.- Pork in the Katsu Don was RAW. They offered to make it right but frankly we didn't even want them serve us any pork after that.- Chef's choice sashimi and sushi was basic salmon, tuna, yellowtail, shrimp, etc.- Edamame was middle of the road, nothing wrong, but nothing stood out besides the lack of seasoning.- We asked for a pitcher of Sapporo and received beer a la cart which was much more expensive. It took 3 or 4 attempts to explain this to the waitress.- Hibachi Fried Rice was good but as a simple dish it is also difficult to mess up.

I think the restaurant change the owner. The restaurant name used to be Ken not Kan. Sashimi is not fresh, and it's $16. ??The sashimi salad tasted terrible and we didn't finish it. Two people ate $100 at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was not fresh. Not recommended to anyone.

The shrimp tempura is delicious. I am so thankful that I can come by after work to enjoy the many items here. The chef and the service staff are great people. I will ask them to make a custom dish for me, katsu udon.

The food was disappointing to say the least. You would have better sushi at Kroger. The bill was $92 and we left hungry. They only had 4 tables and still managed to mess up orders. The service was horrible, the chef had to ring us up because the server was nowhere to be found. We ordered plumb wine and they put ice in it. I wouldn't go back even if it was free.

Small place in a strip center. Don't let it fool you. The food was phenomenal!! Everything was fresh and well seasoned and garnished. Some of the best Japanese food around.

Food is excellent, super fresh. It was 8pm and was doubtful about the the deep fry and to my surprised it tasted super fresh oil. Usually you can tell when it’s old oil. Veggies and chicken tasted like they were prep right before being cooked. Overall 5 for tasted and freshness. Really great atmosphere, excelente customer service, you can’t go wrong!

Now named "Kansha" This place is sooooooo good!! I'm pretty picky about my sushi, but the Yummy and Dallas roll were amazing.

Hey! It's Twee

Been here many times since they change the ownership. I love the sushi and their California roll. The price is up but it happened almost everywhere due to the pandemic. I will still be back regardless. Friendly service and good food.

When we first walked in the place looked a little sketchy and we almost left. We decided to stay and Everything was surprisingly good. The fried rice was over cooked, so it was mushy. We ordered sodas to drink, a sprite and coke. When it was time for a refill we asked for a Dr Pepper instead of a sprite and the waitress told us we would be charged for another drink. We've never had that happen before because it's still a soda.

It wasn't as good as before. This is the first time we came since the pandemic. Not sure if the cook changed or owner changed. The kabobs were overcooked and not as fresh. We ordered the chicken liver, beef tongue, chicken, and chicken skin. The liver was what we missed the most but also was the biggest disappointment. It's seriously overcooked that I can taste some strong bitterness and they are not as fresh, as juicy as before. The size of the kabobs seems to decrease a bit but that's probably understandable? The other dishes seem to be on par - beef don and curry pork rice. They seem to be short staffed or maybe not expecting that many people on a Friday night. There are probably about 3 people in total including the cook. The girl was very busy serving the people. The orders were served surprisingly fast though.

3rd time eating here since the start of the pandemic. Ordered the Bento box with salmon and beef teriyaki on two of the occasions. The salmon was good but portion size was lacking (about a quarter of a fillet). The beef teriyaki is where I was really disappointed and have the most beef with, get it? Twice I've had the beef come with too much fat. I personally like a little fat but this had waaay too much. I still like their food. I'll just have to be more specific when ordering their beef.

Ken was our favorite restaurant for a long time but today was a great disappointment. We ordered salad, sheared beef, sashimi and both udon and ramen. They brought noodles first(!) with too salty ramen and soba instead. And then the beef which overcooked and cold. The sashimi was increased price from $19.95 to $24 but the quality was sub-par. The salad was mistakenly house salad while we ordered spinach salad and brought last when we have finished most of other food. I do not what was wrong but it is not Ken I have known for a long time. Wonder if I may come back.

Me and my boyfriend's favorite Japanese restaurant! we been going here whenever we want authentic Japanese comfort food, I know the taste of authentic Japanese food bc I was born there and will always be my favorite country. However I have concerns, when we had dinner last week I saw the staff preparing their house salad using their hands same as the miso soup they use their bare hands to grab the salad mix into then tossed it into the bowl it's unsanitary for me. For the miso soup this server grab a container with seasoning in it then use her fingers to sprinkle them into miso soup bowl even though there's a spoon in that container. I understand you guys were busy that time but I hope you guys be careful specially we have pandemic. I hope you all understand.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I walked in wasn't greeted like I subsequently observed after I was ushered to my table. Only give a partial menu I guess because I'm of the browner hue I don't eat sushi. Had to pretty much beg for a lemon for my water. The food was so so I have definitely had better. The whole time I was there I felt completely unwelcome and like I didn't belong. It's sad because typically I tip very well but that was not the case this time. I don't recommend this restaurant to away who isn't Asian.
