I had the worst experience.I was given negative reviews, but I decided to give it a try anyways.I had reserved in advance for a quien dinero of 15 ladies, and made sure there wouldn't be any loud events that night. The manager guaranteed there weren't any. She told us they will honored lunch menu, for dinner (even though I didn't asked for it, but I said, sure, that is great), we needed a quiet table since we have a word circle where we talk for the whole table to speak and be heard. Manager has más personal number and never contacted me to tell me things have changed. We get there, and there was another large private event, live and loud band, louder that normal for a restaurant at dinner hours between 7 a 9pm. My grupo could not communicate, except for the person sitting next.We had a table in the middle, where we had no privacy, they moved us to a more private corner, food was late and cold, not the expected flavor. While we were still eating, they cut our light, so we were in the dark, waiter didn't know about the lunch menu. Weeks later we had other party used our photos tonpromote other events unrelated to my group. We love supporting local and Latin restaurants but I will not comeback to this one. The manager lied to us, and gave many silly excuses for all the mistakes.A simple text or call from the manager, to cancel our reservation would have been better to not mix two events and ruin the the reason for my dinner.I am a Dancer and the music was too loud for the space, everyone got home with popped ears, even though singer was a great singer, and band could control volume, we were told manager didn't allow volume to be adjusted for those dining in. We never want to do business with liers and those in costumer service that shouldn't be.Thank you

Amazing food service waiters are so nice and humble the food tastes amazing takes you to a memory of Peru itself. The ambience is just filled with Peruvian music it's very cultural I love it.

I had the lunch special which was a great value seafood at 1599 which included a drink. The fish soup was delicious. I want to go back to try the other specialties for lunch all the soups are $7. The desserts also look good. They have live music and there's a bar which looks fun I'll have to check it out sometime.

Went on a Friday night and the place was completely empty. Despite there only being two tables (including us) the bartenders left our drinks on the bar for over 10 minutes, waiting for the waitress to bring them to our table. Would it have been so bad for them to walk 7 feet to bring our drinks?Despite the place being empty, service was mediocre and slow. And to top it off, when I asked for the bill they just brought over a credit card machine without giving me a chance to review the bill. Why? Ah, because they automatically added a 20% service charge and they had the nerve to program the card machine to ask if I wanted to give more. Very shady.

La Brasa is my go-to spot for Peruvian food. The lomo saltado is my favorite dish and due to the generous portion and flavor it delivers. If you’re feeling adventurous be sure and order the Chicha Morada, a delicious drink you’ll enjoy.

We used to really enjoy coming here. It was like a little hidden gem and decent Peruvian food for Dallas. Coming from NYC, it was the best Peruvian option we could find in dallas. We even had mu husband’s birthday dinner here last year. The food and service used to be good. The service has gone down for sure. As soon as we sat down, the waitress gave us no time to decide what want. She gave us one menu between two people. The yuca fries were cold. The jalea mixta and chaufa were good but the variety of fish isn’t there like it usually is for jalea. Definitely don’t plan on coming back here for a while, if at all.

Food was good! But, service took forever to bring us food and water. We are not coming back.

The ceviche is amazing here! That's honestly all we come here for. The lomo saltado isn't the best? I wish the meat was more flavorful and I'm just not a fan of drenched fries.

Great prices, great service & great food!!! I live 50 mins away from this place but I will definitely return. They saved the day from a horrible experience I had at a previous Peruvian restaurant

Great time for our birthday party. Lots of help from the staff to accommodate the large group of friends. Great food - Peruvian fare - very tasty and affordable. We went later than normal and the staff had no problems assisting us and making sure we were happy with the time we were there.

first time here this weekend, I asked a friend who is from Peru, name the best Ceviche in Dallas. she said The Brasa! I came and was not disappointed. Yuca fries with Huancaina were amazing, Jalea was awesome and crispy and the remoulade with aji amazing. the stand out was the ceviche, AMAZING fresh perfectly balanced with the Concha and Choclo and sweet potato. Fresh fish was perfect. the best Ceviche I have had in a restaurant! Oh and the service was amazing!
