We really enjoyed this place. We went with friends on a late Saturday afternoon after a play at a local theatre, before the dinner rush, and it wasn't super busy. There were probably three or four tables occupied. They were extremely helpful with our menu questions, and service was great. My friend asked for a seltzer water type drink (like a Truly or something similar), and they didn't carry any, so the bartender made one. It was wonderful. She really enjoyed it. The food was great and served hot. Everyone was very satisfied. We don't live on that side of town, but if we did we would definitely go back. If I'm ever in the area, I'll return.

Picked Tri Tip Grill for their HH because they had a patio. The patio is fairly nice with a good amount of seating. It's in a breezeway between Fish City so there was a nice flow of air. Everything on the menu was decently priced. I tried their Bacon Cheddar Tri Tip sandwich. The tri tip was moist and tender. Thank goodness it wasn't dry! The bread used held the sandwich together well. It would be nice if they included fries and you didn't have to order it separately.

DEEEEEELICIOUS! Best spinach artichoke with blue masa chips. The angus Tri tip cook is spot on and the sausage smoke unbelievable! Great service too! However, my chicken avocado salad was in desperate need of red onions. We will be back!

This was the best BBQ meal I've had in a long time. All of their sides are amazing, weirdly I had accidentally been given the wrong side and it ended up tasting amazing and ended up getting the Mac n cheese and it SMACKED. They're sauces were great to make the meal taste even better, it was really clutch! I'll be back soon!!

I had the beef tri tip platter, it was amazing. The fried avocado appetiser and banana pudding desert were equally as good.My waitress Kat, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I'll be back!

A pretty nice and simple decor on the inside. Service was great, by our waitress and the GM came by as well to check and see how everything was. She was very personable and a refreshing person to meet/know is their GM.My wife and I ordered the bacon wrapped jalapenos. They were delicious. Very well prepared. I would have a picture of them but my wife and I ate them too fast, so no picture on those.I ordered the bacon cheese tri tip sandwich. It was fantastic. The meat was very tender and juicy, great flavor. The bacon slices on top of the tri tips were also quite good along with the cheese somewhat melted along the top of the meats. The bread was also very good.My wife ordered the sampler platter with the pulled BBQ pork and the tri tips. She loved it. She said the broccoli salad side was really tasty.Overall it was a wonderful meal at a reasonable price. Check this place out and you'll more than likely want to come back.

Friendly staff, but they served flavorless room temp food. The meats were flavorless but the mac&cheese was good and so were the beans. It was about 6pm on a Friday afternoon and the dining room was about 30% full. I knew we were in for a substandard experience when the food arrived to my table five minutes after I ordered it. I appreciate not having a long wait but too fast is also a red flag. The margaritas we very sweet and very weak as well. I hope your experiences here are better than mine.

The food was good. I had the tri tip sandwich with blue cheese and crispy onions. My sister had the garlic pulled pork sandwich. We both got the smaller sized sandwiches and they were just the right size for us. Both the tri tip and pork were tasty, well seasoned and tender. I love crispy onion strings and these were perfect. I also liked the grilled veggies as a healthier side dish. Although the food was good, I wish they put more effort into training the staff. Our server was very nice but he didn't seem to know the menu very well. He also did not write the order when we gave it and we didn't get exactly what we ordered but close. I would still go back because the food was good. I'm hoping I caught them on an "off" service day.

Very interesting experience. Chicken was really good, and so was cornbread. Will go again

Had the chicken avocado salad, tri tip and sausage...Sides: beans, Mac and cheese, roasted vegetables. Roasted vegetables- not so good Everything else was very good.

i had such high hopes. Onion strings were fried to tastelessness, Mac and cheese was bland. Tri tip was tough and dry. Pulled pork was dry but did have good flavor. Overall, overpriced blah.

Came here for dinner on a Monday night. It wasn’t busy at all but took a few minutes to be seated.Service:We walked in and were confused if we needed to order at the counter or wait because there was not a host to greet us. We walked up to the counter and started ordering and they were confused because they thought we wanted to order go but we told them we wanted to dine in. Then they told us we needed to be seated. So where is the host to guide us?After getting seated( not by host) down for about 10 minutes no one came to bring us water or greet us. Finally one of the kitchen workers came by and asked us if anyone had greeted us and would find our waiter. Another 5 minutes passes by and no one comes. We end up ordering from one of the kitchen staff for our appetizer and drinks. They got my drink wrong. Then our waitress finally comes and takes our order. We were 1 of 3 parties and there were 3 working the front so I didn’t expect it to be that slow.Atmosphere:Very modern industrial ranch look. Large space inside and patio with TV for dining.Food:We got calamari, sampler platter and Black Pepper Baby Back rib plates. Sides were Mac & Cheese, Granny apple coleslaw, roasted veggies and broccoli salad. The mac and cheese was very tasty. Tasted like white cheddar but not as sharp. Very subtle hint of cheddar actually. Apple salad was refreshing. The little hints of sweet and tart from the apple made it taste great. Broccoli salad, tasted like…brocoli. The calamari was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The batter was light and very crispy. It also comes with fried banana peppers. Now to the meats…… The namesake is the fortunately the best meat they offer. At first I thought it was a brisket but turns out it’s like leaner version of prime rib. Pink in the middle but texture is more like a medium slice of New York strip steak. It comes with a dipping au jus sauce. The pulled pork was dry and nothing special. The ribs were not fall of the bone but soft enough you can easily peel off the meat. Dry rub was ok but nothing special as well. There were two sauces. Carolina Mustard and Smokey BBQ. The Carolina sauces was mildly sweet and tangy a the best in my opinion. The Smokey BBQ was too sweet and reminds me of Heinz 57 BBQ sauce.Price:Not bat all compared to most bbq spots. We dined in for with drinks for about $40.OverallThe calamari and tri tip was the best part of the meal. If the service was better I would have given this 4 stars but as it stands 3 stars I believe is a fair review. Unfortunately, we would not come back as the service and meats were left us unsatisfied.
