Very small place with a big heart. While you may have to tip your head into the kitchen to get attention, the food is top-notch. There's African music in the background, sports on the TVs, a full-service bar, and a nice, comfortable seating area of tables and booths. We'll be going back for more. Between our three diners we had sambusas to start, then lamb kabob dinner, chicken kabob dinner, and beef stew. The spinach is amazing, the fou fou outstanding, and don't miss their dessert - it's kind of a bread/biscuit/not too sweet an ending. The waitress will explain anything you don't know about or have questions on. Great eating. Be careful: we all ate too much!

Absolutely incredible food! The sambusas are to die for. Goat plate is the G.O.A.T passionfruit drink is insanely good. The "little secret" martini was amazing. Great place to stop by for something new and leave with a new favorite restaurant. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is great and very inviting! Definitely come try this place out.

Very very good food and great staff. We were able to watch the game on TV and enjoy our food with good conversation. It's a clean place with pool tables in the back. Can't wait to go back

Decided to try something new and found this place called Tam Tam Zing's Cafe. It's listed as an East African restaurant. Their menu is simple but delicious. I ordered lamb kabobs but will try the goat kabobs next time. My wife had a goat plate and it was very tasty. Hard to find anything like it in this area. The soup reminded me of gumbo but with goat. They also have happy hour every day from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. I was very impressed by the size and strength of the margaritas! Well worth the price of admission! Chicken wings were also half off during happy hour! They were out of sambusa when we arrived but by the time we were leaving they had some and put one in our to go box. We actually ate it in the car before leaving because it smelled so good!We're planning to go back again today with friends!
The sambusas and sirloin kabobs were so good, fresh and flavorful! Delicious!! We had the happy hour margaritas and they were phenomenal!!! We will be back!! The price is right too. Owners very friendly!!
vibes are everything for me and so alicia & team went above n beyond to show me love last sunday for my first time there. i will be back for the food (yummy) & for the cool ambience which is almost like going home to the islands. make sure to try rhe lamb & beef kebabs!
