I pride myself in being a TexMex connoisseur and a Mexican restaurant should be judged on these staples: red sauce, queso, beef fajita, margarita….they’re all perfection!They need more signage and presence…I think people don’t realize Victor’s is here until they pass it and it’s too late and too much trouble to turn around (unless you already know how great and worth it this place is).And…AND…they’re open on Sundays, unlike a very close competitor that rhymes with “Mopez”.I said what I said. ? COME TO VICTOR’S!!!! ??

I don't know why I beat myself up and go back. I get the same bad service each time. Let's start from the beginning. I walked in on a Sunday around 12:38. There were four people at the bar and 3 tables with 3-4 people per each table. There were two bus boys, one lady taking orders, a cook, and someone else. Maybe the manager. Not sure. I sat down at the bar and 10-15 minutes later a lady came up and asked to take my drink order. She walked away and started talking to someone at the front door. About ten minutes later she came back to the bar and confirmed my drink order. She made my drink then asked if I wanted any chips. Duuugh, it's a Mexican restaurant. Who doesn't want chips and sauce.??!?!?!? So, I finally got the chips and sauce and I had to ask for a menu. So if your keeping up with the time, it's been about 30 minutes and I'm just ordering my food. So, the food came out in about 15 minutes. I ordered the burrito with rice and beans on the side. I was waiting for the waiter to say, "Be careful, the plate is hot". You know how they always do, and you test yourself if you can actually touch it. Nope, he didn't. because the plate was cold. I should have known when he carried the person's next to me plate with a towel and mine without a towel. Ok, maybe not a big deal. Yes, big deal. I think they just opened a LuAnn box dinner, hit 1 minute on their microwave, and said BAM""! It's done! The food was cold. I ended up eating half my lunch and took the rest home so I could warm it up later. The waitress was eating at a table next to me. So, I guess she was taking her lunch because about 30 minutes later she checked on me. Thank you. She didn't ask how the food was. She just asked if there was anything else she could get me. I said two things, The check, and a box. Note to self, quit going back. I tried 5 times, and all 5 times was awful. I really don't understand how they can stay in business. Sorry Victor's for the bad review. I typically give a restaurant 5 times before I make a review. All 5 times at your place was unacceptable. Suggestions: Close your restaurant and re-hire staff that cares. The food was decent if it was warm to hot. There are way too many restaurants in the area that would love our business. Just discovered my new mexican restaurant. I have been to several others in the area including the so great chief one that everyome claims is so good. The fact is this is a hidden gem. The food is great their half price fajitas on wednesday is a must. You won't be disappointed.

I grew up going to Victor's Casa Garcia on Fry road and then my children did too. Since it closed I have been wanting to try this location owned by Victor's son. It was every bit as delicious as the original!

The food is freaking delicious but the service... Gah, it's absolutely terrible. I've been here on 3 separate occasions and service was pretty bad all 3 times. This last time was the worst. Had to ask for chips and salsa and the server seemed bothered by it. It's literally a desert town whenever we go in. You'd think they'd be happy to just have some kind of business. ?♀️

We haven't been to Victor's in over a year but tonight decided to go since Lopez's was closed. What a HUGE disappointment...Here's why.... 1. Waiter was lost where to seat us and confused (not a big deal - the place was empty) 2. We waited on him to take our order and when he finally did arrive, he had to go get the manager for help.. 3. Food was wrong but the waiter never came back - walked back and forth but never could get him to stop. 4. When my husband was finished (mine was a wet glob of lettuce mixed with runny beans and uneatable), and still no waiter, we asked the "chip" girl for help. She ended up going to the waiter and then SHE brought the bill. 5. Bill was wrong but still no waiter to ask (He was in the room but never looked up, even when the bartender tried to get him.) The bartender went for the manager who just said the waiter was new and sorry about the issues. No wonder the place was empty during dinner time!!

Amazing food, so fresh and seasoned just right! I love Mexican food and make my own at home but this place has some great options and very very tasty! I had the veggie quesadillas...yummy!!! The drinks aren't bad either, I had a margherita in the rocks.
I love Victors but their pricing is insane. $18 for enchiladas al carbon when the menu says $14

This is the 2nd time we have gone. The food is good, but the server was not friendly (both times) and made me uncomfortable and rushed. All other staff were very nice! The kids menu didn't have any prices and no description of what comes with the meal. I ordered cerviche and they were out. I didn't ask about other dishes because the server already looked annoyed I asked about the kids meals. She did not offer anything else, so I just picked something quick and rushed to eat so I can get out of there.

On fathers day the manager working there that day was drinking shots and having drinks with customers/friends at the bar. I placed an order 30 minutes earlier over the phone just to get there and have them tell me they never received my order. When I talked with the manager he seemed tipsy and loose. I was very upset and asked him why he is drinking with customers while he is on the job. His response was "because I own this restaurant, I can do what the f*** I want" I laughed and told him I'm definitely going to report him. Terrible customer service skills. But I would expect that when your drunk on the job.

I don't know how to rate this place, but it wasn't good. Drinks were really really really strong. That's always a plus, but the AC did not work and it was really really hot. Queso was greasy, bartender was attentive. Better luck next time, I guess.
