I had really high hopes for this place.. i heard great things so we tried... but... yeah... as shown in pic... way over cooked and dry. Cut up my mouth... We got a large to share and you'd think this is a SMALL! 3 pieces with that many fries? For $18 plus the drinks almost $3 for a canned soda.. Definitely don't get what you're paying for. Won't be back unfortunately:( ppl were nice though!

The fish was good but I'm disappointed in my fries. They were soggy and burnt. Didn't even know that was possible. Oh and it was very greasy.

Oh my gosh...where do I even begin. This place is such a hidden gem. It deserves more business!! The people are friendly and attentive, the food is immaculate. I've been here a handful of times, my last visit I got their hot chicken sandwich, and it blew me away. I'm white as hell and can't really hold my spice but I love it anyways and this was just perfect. Hot enough to make me sweat, but still so much flavor! I will be getting that sandwich once a week at least. And I've been telling my friends all about it. It's hard to find food that good out here sometimes so props to y'all! Seriously killer. As far as ambiance goes, you gotta give it grace. It's in like the back corner of a food court, it isn't really like a restaurant. But nonetheless I love how you can see everything going on, and I think it's perfect for this place. So good!!!

Glad we stopped in! Both my husband and I had Fish & Chips (spicy). Fish was definitely on point. Definitely enough food with lots of flavor. Highly Recommended.

I ordered carry out via the Yelp app. For whatever reason, my order was not transmitted. It wasn't a big deal. The owner got right onto it and it probably turned out in my favor. The food was hot and fresh when I got it. I picked at the fries on the way back home. They were crispy on the outside and puffy on the inside. I found the fish to be one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly battered - not too heavy. Inside was still delicate and cooked to perfection. Everything was seasoned to my liking. I'll definitely go back.

Attempted this spot after reading the reviews here on Yelp.The fish tasted as of it was taken out of a bag and dropped in fryer. Little to no flavor at all. In regard to customer service there was very little interaction (I was the only customer) and the one person working was only concerned with conducting the transaction. The seating takes place in a food court area and not once did he come to see how the food was, if I would like anything else. One of the other restaurant workers asked me if they could get me anything and I asked which one was theirs. Because of their care for customer service I placed a very large order to go and fed all the people back in my office.
We heard of this place and we’re excited to visit but we were not impressed in the end. Fish was tasty but small pieces and seemed more batter than fish. The fries were not very hot and seemed undercooked a bit and it took a long time to get our food. Then our fried shrimp just did not have a good taste.

Texas is known for Fried Catfish so when I yelped Cod this little gem popped up and off we went. It's located in a "food hall" in the heart of Roanoke. A trendy, cool place with several little eateries.The cod was EXCELLENT! Soooo good and hot. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend stopping by. Don't be in hurry as the old saying goes if it's worth waiting for it's worth the wait. And oh boy was it. We listened to a live singer with just a guitar. The slaw grabbed me and every bite became a better tasting bite then the one before. It's different, like a picked slaw. Yum!The owner was friendly and knew his fish! We will be back!
