It's our family tradition to make a quick stop here at the end of a Rockport weekend to fill our cooler with shrimp eggrolls, grouper, and red snapper. Doesn't last long in the freezer once we get home because it is all so good! Family-owned with friendly service.

I was at the coast by myself and wanted something different to cook at the RV. I knew I wanted shrimp but after reading the reviews, I too wanted to try the eggrolls and I am not much of a cook. I entered into a quaint little house and explained it was just me eating.The nice man picked out 7 large shrimp snd 6 egg rolls and packed in a little ice. I added just a bit of oil, heated and added my egg rolls turned them on each side until brown. Ate immediately and could not believe how delicious and proud that I cooked an egg roll. Shrimp easy to peel and very fresh ( cooked with onion butter and lemon) $14.00 for home cooked meal?

Egg rolls are good, but I also bought the fresh jumbo shrimp. Am I the only one that thinks these shrimp taste like Clorox or something I'd clean my bathroom with? I did some research and apparently washing shrimp with bleach is legal (but not acceptable) to kill bacteria off shrimp. I'm not sure if this business is doing this, but it sure tastes and smells like it to me. No thank you!
