Food was very good. Service was good. It was busy so I can understand. I wish we would’ve found this place earlier as we wintered here. Love the area and loved this place.

Menu is great! Not just your average burger and fries! I included the specials menu in photos. We had the 'Big Tree Burger', the 'Goose Island' burger and for myself the 'Smokey Chedar Bacon Burger'. All were great. Especially great was the appetiser (yes we had this on top of burgers!) 'Tachos' tatertots done like nachos (photo included). We devoured those!Local and awesome. Place has been around for 25 or 30 years and survived hurricanes.Kid-friendliness: They have 2 pool tables and dont mind the kids gaving a game or two. Lots to look at. They also regularly have locally sponsored raffles for kids item (kids rifles, etc).

Always good food, good service. It is a laid back place where you feel comfortable. They treat you as though your a regular. Pool table and tvs. Come grab a cold drink....sit a spell!

Came to town to pick some fishing gear up, decided to try pops place…. Worst decision ever. Walking in I felt everyone wanted me to leave because of the color of my skin… not a welcoming atmosphere at all and the waiting staff isn’t any more welcoming. Ordered two burgers and some onion rings… waited 30 minutes for the onion rings which were trash. Never received my burger after 57 minutes of waiting, decided to leave. Won’t be returning and don’t recommend to anyone, especially if you’re brown….

Off the beaten path, Hole-in-the-Wall Restaurant/ Neighborhood Bar and Toby Keith's inspiration for "I Love This Bar" all good descriptions. The later because you will see all kinds in there, and of course many locals and fishermen. Good prices. It is beer and wine only and not a late night bar. As much a eating establishment as a drinking one. Daily specials: W-CFS, Th-HB Steak, F-Rib-eye. Daily (in season) Oyster specials, the oyster po-boy I can speak for, it was good. Known for the burgers but pretty much everything is good. Only item I probably wouldn't order again is the rib-eye. It wasn't bad, just a little pricey for what it is. Other items as are very reasonable. Service is friendly. Kitchen can be a little slow when they are slammed but usually spot on.

Oysters Neptune were super good. The fried butterflied shrimps were even better. I like an IPA beer with seafood though!The bottle cap artwork was amazing.
Been here many times. ALWAYS great fresh food. The place was packed but that didn’t affect the service. Brittany was polite and attentive and running the while place. I will continue to frequent Pop’s!!
