Very disappointed. My family and I who traveled from San Antonio, were highly recommended to go to this restaurant from local reviews. All the food that was ordered had no flavor and did not taste nor look authentic to Hispanic cuisine. The enchiladas were watery when the sauce is supposed to be at a thick gravy consistency, the rice and beans were dry and had no flavor, the "queso" simply tasted like velveeta, when we asked for cheese on the tacos they put a SLICE of cheese (not even shredded cheese), the barbacoa was caked in grease yet the meat was extremely dry, the carne guisada gravy tasted like cheap gravy with chunks of fat, the only thing you could taste in the carnitas was the onions on top, the eggs were severely over cooked, and they charged us for extra tacos we never ordered. The only good thing was the salsa and the chips. We would have liked to talk to management to possibly receive a refund , but they were busy with other customers and our disappointment was so high that we just left without even eating because only a few bites were enough to deter us. One may see it as spoiled but when you know what's good then you eat it, and when something is bad you leave it even if it's considered a waste of food.

Do better, can not recommend iv had better food from a gas station. The enchiladas were watery the barbacoa was dry and the eggs were crunchy. But it was cooked and it was food so it's gonna get 1 star but if you want good Mexican food don't come here.

This is an absolute favorite when we're in Rockport. Hands-down, the best Mexican food we have had in the area. The prices are more than fair and the staff is always so accommodating. I enjoy the folk art charm inside. Thank you!

Hubby chose this restaurant and we were very disappointed. Ordered chicken fajita enchiladas & they were very bland with only boiled chicken with onions in the enchiladas. The queso tasted like Velveeta & rotel tomatoes. Definitely not what you would expect a Mexican restaurant to serve. We left pretty quickly with all our food still on the plates. Staff friendly but still had to ask for a couple things they forgot to provide when we ordered.
