Staff was awesome, accommodating a party that quickly grew from 8-12 or more. Food was amazing. I will certainly be back!

Would've given 5 stars but I don't believe the fish I was eating was catfish...I believe it was swai ( as lots of restaurants illegally do). If you pay your money for catfish, that's what you should get. Gouda grits were good, stuffed mushrooms were great! Drinks were wonderful. Nice, fun atmosphere, wonderful outdoor atmosphere with outdoor dining, huge lake, shopping.

The manager made sure we were compensated for our wait. They were having trouble in the kitchen. The food was delicious and worth the wait!

Coming from Houston, Dodies is a great place to get your seafood/Cajun food cravings met. Great view of the lake as well. Dog friendly on the patio.

New Orleans born and raised and the flavor was just not there. It definitely gave "watered down Cajun food" but did not give Nola vibes. Our waitress Krista forgot appetizer plates, refills and gave us wrong sides. But the tilapia meal was the saving grace of the night.

I went on Saturday night for the first time, the place was partially full but we got a table. My husband and I waited for almost 40 minutes and nobody took care of us they only gave us the menu and never came back, so we just left. There were 3 ladies that arrived almost 20 minutes after us and they were served first. It was really confusing
We went on a Tuesday night it was not busy at all. There was two of us and we were celebrating. Food was pretty good we had crab legs and their chicken tenders and fries and salad and ordered a meal to go for someone. Their crab legs were pretty good, but the chicken tenders were very small and you only got like 4 tenders and they have no gravy. Fries and salad were good. We had a couple of hurricane drinks which were good. The chips and salsa and queso were okay they have green salsa instead of the red. My only issue which is kinda serious is that when we were handed our bill it said $109 and some change, and then we gave our waitress a $20 bill for a tip and payed the rest with debit card. When we looked at what the transaction said on the debit card notification it said $129 and some change. Which means we were rang up $20 extra dollars from what our bill originally stated which we have the $109 receipt. We didn't authorize for anymore to be taken from our debit card and we gave our tip in cash, so I guess the waitress took it up on herself to add another $20 afterwards for herself, so place was okay, but prob won't go back due to extra money being taken without authorization.

The food was average, not bad though. Frozen appetizers are always going to get bad marks from us. With that said, the bread pudding was AMAZING!
