Some of the best sushi iv had in a long time. Our waitress was amazing and funny with her jokes, I wish I could remember her name I'd sit in her area every time. She was the older lady with jokes left and right.

First time a came in, everything was great. I love everything. Second time I order togo. The tuna taste fishy (not fresh). But the terrible things is the one of nigiri, there are still small pieces of bones in it, and the rice have a piece of metal inside it. I threw the whole box after that.

I would recommend this place over any sushi in Rockwall. I’ve tried several and was disappointed, however this place is absolutely amazing. Sushi is always fresh and we only go to see the server Helen because her service is exceptional! 10/10!

I mean it was okay, the food wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad -- it's a basic level that you would expect. The ambience is good and it has great potential (I love the seating for people who come by themselves). The thing that lacks is the service, I have experience as a server myself and honestly I did not feel that the service was up to par with the restaurant. It was more like I just had an order taker than a server, I don't expect to be treated like royalty but I at least want an experience. Best part of my whole meal would literally only be the wine I got though... I asked for wasabi but got ginger instead... they sound nothing alike, I also asked for lemons for my water but just got water. I'm really a nice person and I hate correcting them and making a scene when I don't get what I asked for so I just took it but seriously? One more thing to note I did just have to sit there and wait for my server to ask for the check... that's always great. :/ (I ended up getting up at asking to pay for my check))

The place is in a dire need of a paint job. The table I sat at had filth on the seat and back. You could see the unprofessional caulk job done on the table and windows. The windowsills were bubbling from poor maintenance. I had to ask my waiter twice for a drink. That is after he took my drink order 20 minutes ago. This is definitely not the place to go to eat sushi. Maybe the other items on the menu are more appealing. The avocado in the sushi I ordered was brown due to poor maintenance or freshness. This is definitely not the place to go for a special occasion.

Greatest Ever

The owner here is truthfully, one of the rudest/meanest people I’ve ever met in my entire life. We came in at 5:25PM and the hostess told us that if we are seated before 6 PM, we get the happy hour sushi menu. We were seated at 5:35PM and we ate like 2-3 rolls and went to pay and she said that since it’s now 6:00PM we have to pay full price. Made no sense, so I very kindly explain to her that we were seated before 6 PM and she threw the biggest fit at us and started yelling and told us “YOU JUST WANT A DISCOUNT DONT YOU” At this point all the tables around us were looking at our table in silence. Me and my family looked at each other in utter shock and said “Um no, we just want what was told to us before we sat down” She then continued to yell at us saying “You clearly have no time management huh” and ended up throwing the receipt in our face and just walked off and absolutely ignored us and started throwing her in the air. How is this even acceptable on any level especially because we were nothing but extremely nice and had no attitude. I own businesses here In Rockwall and if any of my staff acted even a tad like her they would be fired immediately.

Had lunch here the other day. Service was good and the sushi was fresh and perfect. Had the steamed pork gyoza. So good. I had the salmon lover and my husband had another no rice roll with spicy crab. Presentation was so pretty.

My friend and I visited this location today. Let me just get straight to the point. The service was absolutely horrible to the point we had to ask another server to intervene. Even though the service was horrible we still left a 10 dollar tip. After returning to our car my friend gets a ping from his bank saying our bill was 140. And that was the issue. Our check was only 115. With the tip it would have been 125. We didn't understand where the extra was so we went back inside and asked to speak with the manager. Of course no one could locate her so we explained our situation to the bar tender who immediately reached in his pocket and gave us a 20 dollar bill. We were so upset that we just walked away. Im only saying this cause it's a horrible feeling to feel ripped off. We honestly wanted our tip back as well but that's another story. It really sucks to feel like now they have been doing this to other customers as well because I never actually go to my statement and look I just assume that I'm being charged what I'm shown. It's a horrible thing to experience and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else

My friend and I stopped by here for lunch on Saturday and we had the calamari and the sushi lunch combo. The calamari dish had jalapenos and fried garlic which made it spicy (if you eat the jalapeno) and was a nice touch. The sushi with the combo was so filling. The sushi size was bigger than other places and it also came with miso soup. The ambiance was very cool too. The only downside was the parking.
