Short staffed, they were out of drinking glasses and as we paid for our plates cashier said someone will bring us drinks to our table, 15 minutes no one came. My favorite dish is the almondene baked fish however now it's made with too much bread crumbs and not fully toasted like usual. Another favorite of mine is the baked chicken, but now tastes like a store bought rotisserie and skin not fully toasted. The sides are skimpy and we pay plenty for the plates. I guess it's not the typical Luby's I've grown to love and may not be back anytime soon.

I haven't been to Luby's in years.. But I really wanted some liver and onions and this is the only place I know of now to get them. The food itself was pretty good for being a cafeteria type place. What really impressed me the most was the staff. They were so friendly and gave off the impression they actually enjoyed their job. These days that is hard to find.

Very unprofessional manager Brad was rude to several customers today and food was terrible. Several other customers are complaining about him in line. You have lost my business.

I'm going to be honest here. I haven't been to a Luby's since me great grandparents took me years ago. Boy have I been missing out! I was pleasantly surprised with the great food and pleasant service. My wife and I will definitely be making this a family tradition once again. The food tasted good and fresh, and their buttermilk pie was delicious. Thank you, Luby's, for feeding my family for generations.

If your really hungry ? hungry ? you can find every kind of food ? ? ? you could imagine. From steak ? to fried chicken ?, roast beef ? , pork chops, ? salads, desserts ? desserts ? desserts , taco ? bar, nachos and so much to choose from I can list them all in the buffet . Just go there and enjoy ? the hot tasty ? food. See how you like it with your friends and family and rate it between 1-10. You’ll go back for seconds and be so full you can’t move. Have a nice Tuesday!! Enjoy ? the day.

We arrived early afternoon and there was no line ahead of us. We were served in a timely manner. The food was excellent. I got the chopped steak with roasted potatoes and pinto beans with a piece of jalapeño cornbread. Luby's has a variety of entrées to choose from for adults and children. The dessert line has many tasty choices..If one is traveling through Rockwall, Texas on Interstate 30, exit at 205 and pop in to Luby's.

I have always loved Luby's. Last visit was 4/14/21. Food was cold and tasteless.I will not go back. Sad.

Good place for good choices. Food is good and at a good price. Iced tea is five star. Servers do a good job; they work hard. I like Luby's.

This Luby's is my favorite location because it’s so clean & the food is so fresh. The only issue I have there is a guy named Xzavien who has been the cashier the past few times and he is super rude! He should only be allowed to be a cook or behind the scenes if he’s going to have such a horrible attitude. He’s not friendly, he doesn’t speak and the times i asked questions he didn’t even reply! Luby’s please fix this issue.

Food was good, I hope they can rebound from the Pandemic.

We have been a fan of Luby's for years and were sad to hear that they are closing down. My family loves the fried fish and their delicious tarter sauce. And one of my twin boys have loved their spinach since he was old enough to eat solid foods. So when i found myself close to a Luby's today, I couldn't resist in ordering a to-go order of the family sized fried fish dinner. It was just as tasty as it always have been. The rolls, and Mac & Cheese rounded out the dinner. I was surprised at how quickly they had it ready. This could possibly be the last meal we eat from Luby's, and it's a shame. It's always a destination experience for our family in it's simplicity and consistency. But who knows? We may have time for one more for the road.
