I believe ownership has changed the food is not as good as it used to be two years ago. The service is okay. I would not recommend it if you want real Mexican Food.

It's in downtown Rockwall so the location is cool. There is a free parking lot behind the building. The food was good and the server was nice.However, the place seemed dirty....not like they didn't clean today, more like months (or years) of not deep cleaning. The table was clean, the dishes were clean, but the floor and the booth seat were grimy.

Place was completely empty and dirty. Still took an hour to get an order. When it finally came, it was completely wrong and cold. Staff was completely rude when I brought everything up. Refused to take any responsibility or even get a manager.Again, place was empty and they still couldn’t serve people. STAY AWAY!!!No one at this place has any idea what they are doing and shouldn’t be allowed near a restaurant.

I was in Rockwall and thought I would have lunch at Trevino's. I was glad I did. Had the chicken enchiladas with a side beef taco. Always eat the taco first and let the dippings fall on the enchiladas. It is all very good.
we dined in around 3pm was pretty empty and told to sit wherever we like. Service was good, food was subpar except for the chicken fajitas my husband got.

Basket of chips were all overcooked. Almost burned. I asked what kind of cheese is in chile con queso Velveeta, so I passed. None of the items said there was cheddar cheese or any cheese. I specifically said several times that I cannot eat cheddar cheese. All of my food came with cheddar cheese on them. I said I could eat jack cheese. When I sent it back, it came back with NO CHEESE. We made our requests pretty clear, and that seemed to fall on deaf ears.Also I was told they only used white corn tortillas. I had a burrito in a flour tortilla, so I scraped the meat out and ate that - NOT GLUTEN FREE.Too many screw ups for a second chance.

They have a bouncer that runs people off from the busy downtown area. Restaurant only had 10 people inside. I will never eat there.
