It's a great spot. Service is truly great. I can't say enough about how dwindling the staff and servers are here. From the moment you walk in, you see smiles and a willingness to ensure your visit is memorable. The food is great. Another time is a better time. Afterward, be sure to check out the local stores. This part of town has wonderful antique stores and business owners.

I was a bit disappointed with my club sandwich. It was nothing more than a ham sandwich with bacon on it. My house salad was just lettuce, no tomatoes,cucumbers, or courtons. It will take a lot for me to be back here.

Atmosphere was cool. Great old vibe with a cool soda bar. The food though, was very bland, with small portions. For the amount they charge I expected much better. The gravy was watery, the chicken strips were obviously frozen and even the burger, that they’re very proud of was a tasteless frozen patty. The sodas, which should be their forte were watery and skimped on the syrup.Our server was good though.

Good food except to expensive for a soda $4.25,(returned it, didn't care for the sugar carbonation mix) hamburger $12 bucks. The fries were great. Wanted to get a banana split but if I recall they were like $15.

??? I’m currently miserable from food poisoning. I went there last Sunday on my way back home from Houston. I don’t understand why this place has so many good reviews. I asked our waitress what she recommended and I first tried the chicken salad sandwich and I let the waitress know that it did not taste fresh. She took it back no problem (which I appreciated) but then I got her second suggestion (burger) and I know it tasted funny. I was so hungry and didn’t want to complain (again). That burger patty was not cooked well. Both my husband and I walked out of there disappointed and we’re glad we’d never have to go there again. This restaurant was recommended by another local (someone that worked at the Railroad Museum). I feel sorry for the people from Rosenberg if this is one of their best restaurants. We were looking around and truly nobody’s food looked appetizing. I’m not a very picky person but this place was so disappointing it’s hard not to complain. ???
