If I could give zero stars I would. My family and I just left from this establishment. This is a place we have visited before the service at the cook top is not the same service you get at a regular table. At least we get our food there. The service today was absolutely horrible. We were assigned to a waiter who came twice the entire hour and a half we were there. When she brought us the food she threw it on the table. I noticed mushrooms on my plate which I requested not to be in my main dish and she stated when I received my food that's just how it comes and walked away this was the last time she came to the table. I had previously asked for silverware and she never brought it back. I had to go to the bar and get them myself. I then went to search for a manager and explained the situation. She quickly came to get my plate and get me a new one without the mushrooms. The rest of my family finished their food and my food still hadn't made it back to the table. At this point it had been another 30 minutes. I went back to the manager and inquired about my food and she stated they are still working on it. I told her to just take my meal off so I could just pay for my family's food and leave. I paid for my food then I pulled her to the side and had a conversation about my experience. As I looked around I began to notice we were the only African Americans in the building and we had been given the worst treatment. I explained that to her as well. Her response was we are super busy. All the tables around us were checked on and waited on properly including the people who were sitting on the same bench as us. Needless to say we will not be returning to this place again.

I give this shogun 5 stars both for their customer service and taste. This restaurant has the best customer service by far in brazos town center and any shogun I've been to. The sushi is delicious as well as the teppanyaki! Even their normal dinner (aside from hibachi) is really good (seating at the left side of the restaurant).

Upon arrival, half of the restaurant was empty. We waited about 10 minutes at the host stand before even being greeted, let alone sat. Now I dine frequently and was still understanding that they may be short staffed or whatever it may be. A party after us immediately got their drink orders and even their soups and salads before our server came to our table. Once she came to the table, I asked for waters and she walked away before the other three guests could put in their drinks. Fast forward. No utensils, no plates given. Water tasted bad. Veggies bitter. My son's fries came out the last five minutes of the meal. No communication. No friendliness. The worst part? She added an 18% gratuity on our table of less than five people. One of them including a THREE year old who only had the LATE fries. I come from service industry myself and I am more than understanding. But on a $200+ bill, I felt there was barely any service given and felt like a slap in the face after dealing with a stressful dinner. We even went the extra mile to help stack our plates and be as low maintenance as possible. All in all, I asked for the grat to be removed and that was done (with a fight and explanations). No apology was given, no sincerity shown. I hope they figure out their service issues because the ambiance and food is not terrible for something in town.

The food is good, but overpriced. Spent $36 plus dollars on just me and I'm still hungry. The driver for Doordash forgot my drink and I really think they did it on purpose.

I ordered three kinds of sashimi for $27 and I was expecting for $27 to be a lot more fish. Other places charge around $18-$19 for this amount of fish. The place is ridiculously charged and ridiculously expensive for the Quantity and quality of presentation.. Save your money and get sushi elsewhere

We were traveling through, on our way to Louisiana, making a pit stop for the night in Rosenberg. We called ahead, and made reservations for dinner at the hibachi grill. We were welcomed immediately as we walked in, and seated right away as well. It had been yearssssss since I had been to a Shogun, so I was extremely excited that we chose this for our dinner spot! Our waitress appeared seconds after, to take our drink and soup or salad order, as we were sitting with others, so the table was now full. The chef was hilarious! He was so personable, fun and interacted with everyone at the table. Maybe they don't toss shrimp into your mouth anymore? Maybe it was due to the pandemic? Oh well.. no biggie. I tried the scallops that my husband ordered, so buttery! So good! I had the teppanyaki shrimp, and it was absolutely fantastic. Cooked perfectly, down to the veggies and fried rice!

Love this place, the food is always good and the staff is very friendly. Very relaxing place to eat and have your food cooked right in front of you.

Good food but horrible ordering system. We (the office) ordered for lunch online and half of the orders were not processed as their order system does not record orders placed before 11:am. This sucks as I really wanted this to be a part of our rotation.

Very delicious rolls. I got spicy tuna and spicy salmon roll. My husband got spicy tuna hand rolls. The table spacing was great no crowding and everyone wearing masks.
