My husband's pernil sandwich was excellent. A definite 5. My bowl was dry and oversalted. I tried his fries (wonderful), and they were salted well, so it's not like they oversalt everything. Love the fried yucca root. Beautiful ambiance.

Fast service, warm atmosphere, and the most delicious empanadas and arepas we’ve ever had (and we’ve tried a lot!). Highly recommend the Texan Arepa, the queso empanada with garlic sauce, and the pabellon empanada with spicy sauce.

Great place with an awesome taste. I visited with my family, and just starting with our waitress, Michelle, everything was super good. The areas and the parrillas were so good. The cachapas are the favorite for my grandparents.I recommend as Venezuelan food place.

There are only 2 Venezuelan food trucks and 1 restaurant that I fully recommend in the Austin area due to the following reasons:-the only ones with a steady schedule.-the only ones with an actual permanent location.- the only ones that take the phone.- the only ones that care about customer service-the only ones ***reliable***- they have the real Venezuelan food and taste, not cheap imitations.Arepitas “fit the bill” totally. Indeed my favorite among the three I go to, and overall this is the one that does a better job and the only one with indoor seating, clean, and excellent service. They have the food, the drinks, the sauces, and beyond arepas and Tequeños.For me it’s a long trip from Southwest Austin to Round Rock, but I go there when I really have the desire to eat Venezuelan food.

Great food! And BIG portions! You can't go wrong, everything in their menu is sooo tasty!
Amazing food. Unique, but accessible enough and with a diverse enough menu that anybody can find something to eat here.It is very expensive and there's not any kind of lunch menu so you're looking at almost $20 a plate.
We were looking for a place near my daughter’s soccer match and picked this place because it had the highest stars and best reviews. The reviews were spot on. It was delicious… lots of options and they walked us through everything on the menu. I only wish I could’ve eaten more! Our server was patient, pleasant and prompt. Most importantly, it was delicious and a great experience.
JAN 2024 latest review:Ordered parrilla to share for two. Amazing, fresh, flavorful.Coffee was awful, ordered a latte and received a cappuccino. Super strong, almost no milk, asked an employee for milk or creamer and never got it.Server was nice while taking the order. But disappeared afterwards. Didn't even went to the table to check after we received our food if we needed something extra. Didn't see the server at all. Not even for payment.2023:Awesome dish size and super flavorful food, the drinks were very good as well. Love when restaurants serve the beers in very cold/freezing glassware.Definitely coming back, 100% recommended.Even though the restaurant was short staffed, the service and food was very good, and even faster than I was expecting. Please be patient when visit.
