The vibe of the restaurant was nice, off to a good start. The waitress was fine, not as friendly as we were used to but she did her job. They were very concerned about the onion allergy we had, we appreciate them taking that seriously as not all places do - thank you.We ordered two filets (medium rare), one with bearnaise and one with au poive. Got mashed potatoes as a side. We cut into the filets, and in the center they were medium at best. All of the outside cuts were grey and dead. The bearnaise tasted like a weird sour mayo. For the au poive, I expected the cognac sauce with the peppercorn like all steakhouses but I did not get that. I essentially got Chicago style, just a hard sear crust. Usually if it's close to medium we're fine just eating it, but seeing as this was nearly dead we asked for a remake. They brought it out relatively quickly, and unfortunately it was pretty much blue rare. We didn't want to wait any longer because usually with places like these, they won't ever get the cook corrected. So we ate what we could and saved the rest, see picture. They ended up making some semblance of an au poive sauce, which I appreciated.Overall, I'm very surprised they had such high reviews, and hopefully we were just a one off night... But I'll certainly not be going back to test if that's the case. I never expect to be compensated in these situations, but at these higher end steakhouses, it's almost a given if something like this happens.This was a $250 meal, and a very disappointing one at best. If you're a steakhouse foody, I'd stay away.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The staff was really nice and the ambience was beautiful. But the food was incredibly overpriced. We don't even drink and we ended up spending over $200. My steak was salty and I didn't really think any of the sides were special, it's kind of sad because we live within walking distance of the resort but I just can't justify how much they charge for something that's not good.

Honestly I was not impressed. My husband made reservations to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was okay. The place was not full there were quite a few tables so I was displeased to find we were to be seated at a table that basically was what one world consider the over flow table. It was in the corridor between a dining area and booths. We asked for a different table and was given a booth right across from the previous table. It took quite some time for a server to come take a drink order and a while to get the two drinks. Then our assigned server showed up and took our appetizer order. We had the hanging bacon. It was okay. Our entree took so long to come we were no longer hungry so we had it boxed. I ordered the chicken. $33 for just chicken that was drowned in the sauce was just a bit much. I’m yet to taste it so I can’t offer a real review on that. My husband’s shrimp were over cooked. A $140 for two and we weren’t pleased. We tried it but it’s not a place we would return to.
