I typically wouldn’t review a fast casual Chinese restaurant ..and I wouldn’t give many a 5 star….. it is what it is. But this restaurant - FOR DINE IN - is extremely good. I had the pork egg foo young and it was a plentiful portion , nicely presented and the sauce was perfect. I’ve often ordered it for delivery and it just does not compare to the dine in experience. Some time ago it must have changed ownership as it just not the old experience which was fast casual not really worth a review. The service was attentive and the ownership seems very family. Definitely give it a try BUT dine in. I think you will enjoy it.

Used Doordarshan for delivery. Got sick from the food and threw up for 45 minutes after eating it. Called the restaurant and they blew me off on Doordarshan who gave me a 19 dollar refund on a 61 dollar bill. They take NO responsibility. Stay away at all costs. Not even an apology from Great Wall.

Ordered takeout from here. Beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, crab rangoon, and shrimp fried rice. The food lacked flavor and tasted like it had sat out all day.The beef and broccoli had an odd irony taste.I took two bites and threw it away. The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice was definitely old, freezer burnt, and overcooked.Although this sesame chicken was not the flavor I was expecting, It was probably the best item out of the bunch. The crab Rangoon was fine too, but they were so cheap with filling. The order was over $50– I probably ate about dollars worth and threw the rest away. I will never order from this restaurant again.

Family went to Kalahari down the road and found this place to give a try. Staff was extremely nice and very attentive. Great food, great portions, and price. 10/10 recommend!

I ordered the shrimp fried rice and let me just say, from that alone not makes me want to try anything else!!! I am a shrimp fried rice girl and I usually base my restaurant off of that, who an mess up shrimp ried rice, if you have good fried rice than I know everything else is amazing, and I end up being right! But today this wasn't it! My fried rice wasn't all the way done, there was still some raw egg in there, the shrimp not only smelled very fishy it taste like it as well, and it wasnt seasoned well, just bland in flavor. I figured a bunch of soy sauce could make it better.... but it didn't! I wish I could get a refund but it isn't uber eats fault... they didn't cook it. I'll take the loss and just never order from here again... Ever!!!

Be more courteous with folks. You don’t like serving people then go somewhere else and avoid people.

I've been looking for good bbq pork fried rice, and GWE has the best pork fried rice in the area by far.

Ok so this is a basic American style Chinese restaurant. I wasn’t expecting much but I try all places. This place actually went above and beyond in one area. So I order the pupu platter. Very light for the money. One of the skewers had like a .5 ounce piece of meat on it and the second two pieces. Very bland to say the least. I also ordered the hunan beef. This is where they went above and beyond. I ordered spicy. I have never had a spicy order that yes was hot but no flavor. Thank goodness for soy sauce on this run. The Lo main. Another horrible story. It was like a flat noodle with no flavor. All items were over cooked. I would have had a better experience at Panda Express at least they do have flavor in the food. I have to say one star all around. Will not be going back. Save your money and go to the great places in Austin like din Ho and China town on north Lamar. This place is trash

The food was hot and delicious. Even though the place was overwhelmed with orders left and right we got plenty of attention and plenty of hot food quick. We love this place.

I got General Tso's chicken, and it was very dry and tough. I've only been there 1 time, so maybe it was a bad day.
