Food is good....bite size pieces just too big Update: Second time in just a few days and ordered takeout. I decided to stick with the curry chicken and pepper chicken dishes that I had enjoyed during my previous visit.Once again, I was impressed with the quality of the food. The curry chicken was packed with flavor, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The curry sauce was rich and fragrant, and the spices were perfectly balanced to create a delicious, savory taste. The smaller bite sizes of the chicken made it easy to enjoy the dish without feeling overwhelmed. The pepper chicken was equally delicious, with stir-fried chicken, peppers, and onions that were cooked to perfection. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, and the spiciness of the peppers was just right. Thanks for making the slight change...been a loyal customer for over 20years

I ordered "Chongqing Mala Beef" ( 重慶麻辣牛 ) and some fried pork dumplings. My expectation is that the dish will be deeply earthy, with tons of garlic, spicy _and_ buzzy from szechuan peppercorns and salty... and Happy Dragon Chinese Bistro NAILED IT. Absolutely perfect, as if I was in Chongqing, no compromises. The portion was really generous, especially given that I placed my order at 9pm on Monday for UberEats delivery. It came with a generous 1-cup portion of perfectly made steamed rice. With some of the negative reviews I saw, I have to admit was a touch worried but the order was handed over hot and on time, and my UberEats driver had it from the restaurant to my door in 9 minutes flat. Everything was still steaming hot and ready to eat.Well done, Happy Dragon. I will be ordering from here again in the future. Xie Xie ( 谢谢!!! )

Bad experience. Called in a takeout order and when I got there the door had a big red “Williamson county Health Department” sign on the door that said “Unsatisfactory” Food was fast but flavor was terrible- all I could eat was the rice. Bummed.

The food is really good. The portions are huge & the staff is lovely. Pick up is quick & easy.

The lo mein was amazing that it made my friends jealous the staff right at the counter was so nice and patient, and price and portant is reasonable. 10/10 would go again with my bros.

What you expect from a decent Chinese restaurant. Quick friendly service, and good inexpensive food. We were concerned when we walked in and there was nobody dining in, but we quickly realized the restaurant stays very busy just mostly with pick ups and deliveries. Being the only dine in gable the entire time was incredibly peaceful.Kid-friendliness: Sweet and sour pork or chicken. Orange chicken, or orange beef are what I remember immediately. Good place to go with young kids due to speed of service and quiet atmosphere.Parking: Lots of parking close to the door. Something that's not always common with restaurants in strip malls.

It has greatly vexed me that there is a lack of suitable Chinese food in this area. Austin do got everything else, but if you've got you the hankerin' for Chinese food your expectations may go unmet. This is the best place I have been to in the area so far. The fried rice is actually fried rice and not just white rice with soy sauce dumped into it. I saved the sauce from the sliced pork just so I could cook some eggs in it the next morning. Super good

*VEGETERIANS BEWARE ** my rice had chicken in it . Mind you I been ordering with these people since 2020 when they barely had customers ! This woman tried to argue with me about my food ! Telling me it’s probably egg like I am unable to distinguish texture ! She asked forPhotos and said it’s probably egg . I’m not about to play with these people they have lost a longterm customer

Absolutely HORRIBLE! I’d rather Dine in a Dumpster than order from this place again. UberEats had really good reviews. I was in a rush and did not think about looking at the Google Reviews. WORST MISTAKE!!! The Wonton Soup smelled sour, the fried wings were soggy, the mystery meat in the Pork Egg Rolls was extremely questionable, and The Lo Main ?.

Before the pandemic I used to pick up food there a lot. I love their hot and sour soup and most of their other stuff. Tonight was the first night that we've ordered since the pandemic and I hate to say it but it was awful. The hot and sour soup was edible but it had hardly any sour flavor. It's nothing like it was before. The general says chicken had no flavor or spice to it. It just tastes like I was eating corn syrup. My husband ordered chicken pan fried noodles and I've had those other places and they're crispy. These were not crispy they were hard as rock. The potstickers were doughy. We ended up throwing it all away and making frozen dinners.

Soggy trash and burnt rice. Imitation crab in the soup and everything tastes like it came from a boil in bag.Easily the worst Asian food I’ve had in Austin.Save some money and go to Panda.

I've ordered Singapore Noodles from a lot of different restaurants, but this one tasted like crack! They've got the recipe down.

I'm from back East and this is where I get the most authentic Chinese food I have found here in Central Texas!

This is the second time I’ve come in to pick up an order and the lady at the front was incredibly rude and has 0 customer service skills. Before I even tell her my name for my order I’ve already placed she says “15 minutes”. When the order is already supposed to be completed, but doesn’t ask for my name or bothers actually checking on the progress of the order. Will NOT be returning.
