Visiting out of town, it was true southern hospitality. From the moment we walked in the door, Andrea and David were very attentive in making sure they went above and beyond in their service. If you’re ever in the river walk area and need a bite to eat, a quick refreshment, or to simply enjoy the view I highly recommend Joes Crab Shack!
100% the best experience we’ve ever had at Joe’s Crab Shack. The GM Dale was present, attentive and more than helpful. Our waitress Vera was the absolute best! She was so so sweet and took the very best care of us. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area or coming through and we’ll definitely be back!

Started with some drinks and spinach artichoke dip. The dip was decent, had worse and had better. A solid 3.5, just seemed to be missing something.The snow crab boil was not very good. Crab was soft and did not crack, making getting it out harder. Flavor was good, ordered mild and it was as expected. We’re giving the crab boil a 2, for the price it was not worth it, and the softness of the shell took away from it.The sailors shrimp fish delivered. It was a lot shrimp. The two best are grilled and fried. The tempura was ok, not my favorite.Alexa, our waitress was great. Friendly and attentive. Made sure we were good, and didn’t ask when I had a mouthful of food!The huge hanging great white was cool.Dietary restrictions: They actually have a gluten sensitivity menu!

I went with a friend on Saturday and had a great time. I typically don't order seafood but I did anyway. I had a sampler platter to taste a little bit of everything and it didn't disappoint. The coconut shrimp was my absolute favorite. If I could eat coconut shrimp for the rest of my life, I would. obsessed.

I will most definitely be coming back to this particular spot all thanks to Cayden who did an exceptional job. From being courteous and respectful with knowledge of everything we had questions about. His personality and his energy was the best. My husband and I ATX 512 MOBILE MECHANICS had just left a funeral we attended and came here and immediately Cayden and the whole atmosphere here at this place lifted our spirits it was such a wonderful experience here. Great Food!!!!! Cayden is an asset to this company! Thanks again Cayden you rock!!

Our server was nice. The food was not. The food was very bland. If your looking for some good seafood, keeping looking. The location is convenient you are staying in the area, you could walk. I did appreciate them cleaning the menus after customer use.Kid-friendliness: On Wednesday, kids meals were $.99. Nice portions too.
