The food was mostly good. But it took almost an hour and a half for two meal. My son ordered enchiladas with eggs and I ordered the asada with eggs. I noticed every table around us came in after us, ordered after us, but was given their meals before us. When i confronted the waitress she said breakfast was running 30 mins behind. When the food finally did arrive the beans were cold and they forgot our tortillas and pico. The manager never came by to apologize and the waitress didn't seem to care. There are plenty of other delicious Mexican food restaurants in the area that I would recommend before coming here ever again.

Do not order the crab stuffed shrimp. They took cutting back to another level. Jump shrimp was actually 6 cocktail shrimp butterflied with a small drop of some type of crab cream sauce. Not even close to a $25 entree. My poor shrimp struggled to cover a quarter of the plate. Normally this spot never disappoints, I guess it’s my fault for ordering seafood at a Mexican food spot. Two managers and our waiter were made aware of the issue. Free flan was offered.

Food was mediocre and the service was terrible. Once seated we were ignored. Our waiter was Erik. This was our first and last time to visit Lupe Tortilla. My husband finally went to the bar to get water for the adjacent table of senior ladies on fire from the salsa.

Reasons why this was a terrible experience.Website down after order put in15min hold time to place phone orderPicked up at my pick up time to be told it wasn't ready and no idea when I would have my order.Watched as orders numbered after mine were bagged.Then, when a platter of beans and water glasses was spilled behind me, covering my black pants and staining my shirt with beans, I was denied a table me and my 5yo could sit at while I cleaned up.I was a guest at the hotel behind the restaurant and have no way to clean my outfit.Terrible service.

We ordered Lupe’s through Door Dash last night. Lupes was super busy at 9:45pm because of baseball tournaments and they were having issues with Door Dash. I had to wait longer than normal because of door Dash, but the staff was so kind even though they were closing up. When I got back to my hotel, I noticed I forgot the drinks that I ordered and payed for. I called Lupe’s back and they picked up even though it was already way passed close. They were so helpful and refunded my drink order. It’s a little thing, but I appreciated it so much. Thank you Lupe Tortilla Round Rock!

Service was great but food was HORRIBLE. I will never visit a Lupe Restaurant again. Drinks had a weird taste, food was cold and ZERO flavor, and silverware was dirty but served as it was clean. NEVER AGAIN!

She even went above and beyond to get us some warm chips when our queso came out. Now if that is not above and beyond I don't know. Great service GIGI. ❤️

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience here. Walked in with a party of 3 and was told it would be a 20 minute wait…. Ended up being a 45 minute wait. But we actually didn’t complain about that, although we should have. Or just left. There were three hostesses doing the job of one. And when we extremely politely asked ONE time where our place was in line we were essentially punished for asking. Cold, dry responses. When we were FINALLY sat, our hostess plopped the menus down with an attitude, only gave us two menus, and when we said “Thank you!” she ignored us and walked away… with the third menu…. Things were seemingly fine until we had put our order in with our waitress. After about 30 minutes, she hadn’t refilled a single drink, nor refilled the chip basket. But she did say “your food will be right out!” 20 minutes later, she said “your food will be right out!” Again. About 15 minutes later, she brought 2 out of 3 of our orders to the table… she explicitly told the 3rd person “I didn’t bring your food because I ran out of room on my tray. I’ll be right back.” She proceeded to disappear for I kid you not, 10 more minutes. She came back out and said “it’ll be just a minute!”. 10 MORE minutes later she came back and at that point the 3rd person at our table decided that they would just share the food of the other 2 of us… we had to half our meals with her so she would have something to eat. When the waitress came back to the table, we informed her that she could cancel that order, and take it off the check. The waitress’s combative response was literally “well, the food you ordered is the thing on the menu that takes the longest to cook.” We responded that’s fine, but we’re not accepting nor paying for it. At that point we asked for our first drink refill. Waitress left. Manager came over to remedy the situation, we politely explained it and she apologized. No drink refill ever came. We finished our food and literally had to FLAG down the waitress for a drink refill… had to hold the cup in the air to her and asked for the check. We also asked for two to-go boxes. She disappeared with the cup for another. 10. minutes. But brought out other tables’ drinks and food. We had to *stand up* at our table to get any sort of attention. Waitress came out with the check and to-go boxes, no drink, and said “sorry, my manager had to approve the check and taking your meal off of it” again, combative. In sum, we showed up at 11:30 am and couldn’t leave until almost 2 pm. We wanted to just leave without paying, so many times but morally couldn’t. I am the most patient, respectful person to people in the food service industry. But this experience deserves one star. The first one I’ve ever given. If I could give zero stars, I would.
