Small cute little place. I wasn't impressed by the food ? ranchero sauce was a bit plain. Only the flour tortillas are homemade. The coffee was good. Service was good, but it was just one waitress running the whole place by herself, and she was very overwhelmed and needed help.

I ordered from door dash, I’m going to be honest I’m a bit hesitant when it comes to any Mexican food here in Austin since I’m from San Antonio. I’ve been visiting Mexican restaurants around Austin and nothing can beat San Antonio Mexican food. I can never find anything similar or Authentic. It all taste like it either has sat or the flavor is not there. I would like to start and say the food was AMAZING. The charro beans weren’t the best but the enchiladas and Carne Quisada topped it off for sure! It really felt like I was eating at home. The flavors are amazing! I will definitely be bringing my family there next time. Y’all definitely should consider bringing back homemade flour tortillas! It would definitely bring more people in!

I ordered nachos today at Recuerdos and was impressed. Not only do these come as individual nachos (as opposed to a big pile of chips) they use tostada shells to make even. The chips hold up and the flavor of the toppings was very good. I also tried a carne guisada taco, which would make me want to order this as a plate. Enchiladas looked good, so will probably get those next time.

Walked in, did not get greeted, Lady with long her passed us by and was trying to sit another customer that walked in. My husband informed her we have been waiting and when the table got cleaned off my husband thanked her and her response was “mmhmm”. Correct response should’ve been your welcome or no problem. Will NEVER step foot in this place. What hospitality service!

The Mexican food here is very Caucasian inspired, not authentic. They were good though! Food served piping hot just like I like it. The beef enchiladas had beef sauce on top, kinda reminded me of Luby's enchiladas. No salsa in sight other than for the chips. And idk what brand chips they buy, but those things were like crack!

Loved this gem in downtown Round Rock. The chips and salsa are fantastic. We had bean tostados and chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. All good is home made. We will be back. It is run by a husband and wife team. Smaller restaurant with 8 tables.

Small, quaint, cozy, fast, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Pricing is reasonable, too. I just happened to be nearby for another shop, had lunch, and had to get another order to take home to the family.I had the burrito classic, with a two cheese enchilada plate, and two crispy taco plate to go. They even packed in some chips and salsa. The chips and salsa are also really good. Salsa has a bit of a bite, but not too bad.

This has got to be some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The enchiladas had no taste and the fajita tacos literally looked like they were mystery meat and slimey. How y'all are in business I don't understand but I will never waste my money here

They have THE best enchiladas. No hyperbole. Legitimately the best. It's also a real mom and pop place. Feels like you're popping over to a friend's house for home cooked food. Definitely eat here if you're in Round Rock and looking for tasty Mexican food.
