Absolutely disgusting. I would never waste my time or money at a business like this. The owner is a disgrace. Commenting on my personal page that I am ugly because of my dis agreement with her.

They gave me terrible service and were so rude to my family and I. They were acting racist and just being plain rude. I wouldn't go there if I were you. Stear clear.

DO NOT GO HERE! If you’re on your way find another spot.We went in, no one greeted us at all after sitting for about 10 minute, so we left.Toddler couldn’t even use the bathroom, bathroom floor was soaking wet, we could not fully walk in with shoes on. Place smells and feels very unwelcoming.

The supposed chef, William Anthony Gainey, Jr. is NOT a certified Master Chef as he claims. The restaurant doesn't have a valid tax id number and can't keep employees. He has posted his Le Cordon le Bleu numbered "certification" on his Facebook page, but it is fake. Check it out for yourself. Do your own research. According to the school, he has NEVER participated in any of their courses. That's why the food is subpar to real "cajuns" (like me). He is a conartist and exfelon (TDCJ 10+ years) deceiving as many people as he can. There's nothing wrong with people making mistakes or serving time. But at some point, the trickery and lies must stop. I know, because I am his current wife and one of the deceived along with many of my friends from The Woodlands, TX. He is looking for more investors to trick. So, beware.

Disappointed! Left twiddling my thumbs waiting for service. I guess service is the last thing on their mind.

Great food! Not the fastest but fresh food isn't fast food. Highly recommend. Also, very nice waiters.

After reading reviews I was skeptical but glad we ate here. The staff was super friendly. Dj was super nice to our son when he saw him start dancing, our waitress took time to dance w him. The food was great, came out hot and flavor was great. The one thing is as reviews stated they were out of sides but this is a new place sure be fixed soon. Even that was addressed with an apology from management, and there was a big party before us there. But great experience overall. Would definitely go back.

My vyiair actually happened on Friday, Sept 23. The staff was really nice and greeted us as soon as we walked in. While the music was a nice vibe, it was way too loud. I had to order my food by pointing at the menu because the lady at the counter couldn't hear me - we were basically shoulder to shoulder. We were told the wait would be 5-7 minutes, but it was more like 20 mins. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't mind because all of the food would be blazing hot. That was not the case this day. I ordered fish and fries and my husband ordered fish and shrimp. This was a new spot for us so we were super excited to try it. That excitement turned to disappointment. The fries were old and stale, but the fish and shrimp had zero flavor. It was beautifully breaded but didn't have a lick of seasoning on it. The menu said that the meals came with hush puppies - it didn't. The portion size was decent but I can't justify continuing to pay those prices to get sub par food. I really wanted to love this place, but there's still a lot of work to be done.Parking: It's a shared lot so during busy times for the strip, it may be difficult to get in and find a spot.

We got there around 1 on a Sunday and they were only serving 3 brunch items. The food didn't all come out at once and was cold by the time we all ate. It really needed more seasoning and the sausage in the gravy was like cut up little smokies. I was really excited and it was lackluster. The waitress and dj were extremely nice, but the food wasn't what I expected.

Fried fish had absolutely no seasoning. Do not recommend.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR ITS OWNER Anthony Sheridan!! We were there to help them financially when they were in a time of need and they have now stolen a large amount of money from us and refuse to pay. If this is how they repay someone who tries to help them, I would warn against doing any business with them.

This restaurant is an excellent choice. The food is amazing and cooked fresh to order. The atmosphere is casual, music jamming in the background, several TVs to watch, And a large seating area outside. The servings are generous and at a great price! I had the Seafood gumbo and the Smokey Creek punch to drink, The food was delicious and the drink was made just right! I highly recommend this restaurant For some authentic Creole food and great drinks!

When I came to this establishment I was expecting lots of Cajun spices in my food. To my surprise, I didnt taste any spices. It was less, and didnt come with everything as posted on menu stated for my order. Fish basket with hushpuppies, fries and 1 side. I ended up with fish and fries. Sad face. The chef and hostess were nice people.

Fantastic cajun food! I’m from Louisiana and know what good authentic Cajun food tastes like. Smokey Creek is best in Austin!
