Greasy… waaaaay too greasy tacos. Just dripping oil and you will taste it too.

Takavron catered a private party at my home. They were terrific! Arrived early to get set up. Everyone loved the three taco choices. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Price was very reasonable. Give them a try.

We went to the new location at Old Settlers Park at Palm Valley. We got the nachos and the sirloin tacos. They never disappoint..big portions and friendly staff. They have covered tents with tables and cornhole in a giant lot.

Super cool Mr. Takavron. I tried the vegetarian taco and it was really delicious. The sauces are very tasty and the red one is PICOSAAAAAA. With great pleasure I return, since it is not the time of Lent, to try the meat tacos!☺️

My husband and I eloped in late October and had a reception in early November 2022. We shopped around for a couple food trucks to cater our party and ended up choosing Takavron. From the first email, Ken and Rodrigo were extremely responsive with all of my questions. They invited us to do a tasting where we got to try out each taco and their chips and queso. We ultimately went with the option to have all you can eat, and chose the specialized pirata taco to be included on our menu. The whole night was a success and our guests loved the food! Rodrigo brought a small food truck and just parked it in our driveway, no cooking, cleaning, or mess for us at all - we loved it! Highly recommend for your catering needs and we've visited their truck at the Crossover a few times after our party as well. Great team to work with!

I stumbled upon this truck last month with Thing Two when she went ice skating at The Crossover. This truck was located at the back of The Crossover in-between two other food trucks. Thing Two ordered the nachos at the suggestion of another customer who was raving about the order he picked up. After we ordered, it took about 5 minutes for us to get our order. The nachos were heavier on the cheeses than on the carnitas. The hefty cheese took away from the carnitas which was unfortunate. Overall, this was on okay execution of nachos but not ones that I would seek out in the future. $8.50 before tip

1 of 2 Food trucks at The Crossover.Kinda pricey but the atmosphere is bougie chic for LeanderSirloin is chopped to a great size but it's rather dry and not marinated enough.Pastor was a hearty portion and good flavor. It was verging on the texture of chorizo. The nachos had a great cheese ratio.I'd go back if I'm here, but wouldn't drive here just for the food.

My husband and I used Takavron for our wedding afterparty and I couldn’t be happier we did! Every single person at our wedding told us how AMAZING the food was and how they ate way too much. Eric was not only kind, professional, and friendly, he made our experience one to remember! From one friend to another, you cannot go wrong with Takavron!

This should not even have any stars. I had better tacos, $7 per tacos is ridiculous. Their tacos are below average, nothing special about it. They may have to bring their price down to what it should be.

If you venture north of Austin off 183, you'll find this really cool spot called Field House. Inside Field House is a good little taco truck that serves up big flavor. If you live in Texas you have to know your taco spots and I'm happy I tried this one. Here's what I had: Pirata - Good amount of sirloin steak, cooked well with onions and cheese on a flour tortilla. This was the second best of what I had. El Capitan- This is the one! If you get anything on this menu, get this! Of all the tacos I tried on the menu, this one stole the show! The shredded pork melts in your mouth. Paired with cheese on a flour tortilla. This was taco heaven! Chicken taco- Underwhelmed with this one. Flavor was lacking and it was just ok. Gringa taco- Standard pastor meat on a flour tortilla. Nothing stood out about this one. Price was higher than what I like for 1 taco ($7-8). Standing in line also took a while, then the wait was quite long but the food was good. Overall, worth a try if you're in the area. The atmosphere is definitely worth it as Field House bar is cool.

Nachos al pastor for the win! Best value and most delicious offering at the Crossover.

There were quite a few problems with delivery that got me worried for my event but their customer service was great. Once I tasted the food… magnificent. All problems just melted away. I will definitely be a returning customer.
