The food is wack, why do they call them tacos when they’re more like a 13 yr old tryna make “mexican” food and his grandma telling him “very nice honey that’s pretty good!” Bc they just wanna be nice and not make him saaad. The taco combinations don’t even make sense, they combine things that don’t even fit well for Mexican food. For example “fajita “ taco and cotija cheese?? Pico de gallo and habanero sauce ?? ? habanero is only eaten in certain parts of mexico and doesn’t go well w everything . $6 a “taco” is ridiculous. It’s more like white people wraps, and I’m not hating on white folks but this is just a mess; let’s stick to bbq and chicken fried steak.

This particular Torchy's restaurant is exceptional & something to be remembered, the staff is exceptional, courteous and kind and of course the food is very good and the restaurant itself is quite large, roomy and well decorated. Just great accommodations and Outdoor seating as well! It is by far my favorite of all Austin area Torchy's. I highly recommend the extra drive no matter where you live to come to this one!! Kevin.

The food is as good as any other Tex-Mex restaurant. Seems always crowded...
We could not have had a better experience with the people, food, and location. I have dietary restrictions and the manager personally was overseeing our orders and everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful. We loved the covered outdoor eating area. The food was great and was served quickly and accurately. I wish I'd caught the name of the manager but, if it helps identify him, on top of his customer service skills he had a great handshake and a fantastic beard.Dietary restrictions: They were very conscientious and knowledgeable about ingredients when asked.
Now this was a real surprise!We flew into Austin, TX to visit family and watch the eclipse.They said we had to have a real Austin experience so they took us to Torchy's for lunch with the kids.Had some amazing tacos and would love to have more.Dietary restrictions: They catered to dietary restrictions but mostly with corn tortillas instead of flour. Just be sure to let them know and they will prepare it special.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level so know problems and tables for wheelchairs also.
Good tacos and fun atmosphere. Pricey for a taco, they good though, barely worth the price. They do have alcohol, hybrid sit down with counter service atmosphere.
