Everything I have ordered there has been delicious - usually order the gyro or gyro salad. Have ordered many of the appetizers as well. The only problem I've ever had is that sometimes the wait staff doesn't know how to handle a coupon that has been texted to the customer from the restaurant. Otherwise, everything has been great. Small, intimate dining room. I think Onassis in Rockwall is owned by same person because the menu looks identical ( at least it did when they 1st opened). It was slightly more expensive by about a dollar on some items so have just stuck with Opa.

Ordered to go online. Was easy and order was ready on time. My gripes will be few. Service was okay, but they forgot plastic wear for the order. Glad I checked ahead of time since we were planning to eat on the go. Lunch gyro was packaged messy, but it did have a good bit of meat. Souv plate has good flavor. Falafel were soft which I liked. The tzaziki was chunky and made me a bit concerned about it's freshness. The pita side order is cut into the smallest pieces as if they are pita chips. I don't prefer this especially when I'm trying to wrap chicken kabob in it. Not sure if I'll be back but their menu has all the items you would want in a Greek restaurant.

Yum, yum, and yum! This place has fantastic Greek food.There are a variety of sampler plates to choose from. It was raining when we went but they have a really nice patio.Be sure to get the dolma. They are lemony bright with minty freshness. They were playing the 80's when we were there.The staff is attentive, and the food is unforgettable.Plan for lots of leftovers and get dessert!

I had a great time at Opa! Greek Taverna in Rowlett, TX. The menu had a wide selection of Greek specialties, and everything I tried was flavorful and satisfying. The baklava for dessert was the perfect way to end the meal—a sweet and flaky treat that left me wanting more.

Place was okay, got the Reuben and the beef was extremely tough. It may be that we're very familiar with Onassis and love that place, so when we came to this sister restaurant we had similar expectations. Instead, it was a bit dated and the one entree I had (Reuben) left a lot to be desired.

We both got a Greek salad and it was the worst I ever had. Our friends got a pizza that looked average. I have to say they were not too crowded so I do not know why the service was so poor. We will never go back. Sad because we could use a good restaurant in Rowlett.
