Food was over fried. The fries were old. We had to wait on our waitress for a long time a few times.The worst part was the environment. A brewery with old time music, firefighter theme, and cafeteria style eating area everything just seems off unfortunately.

We went for our first time today and were very happy with our visit!!! We definitely will be back!! Our server, Connor, was amazing!! He was very nice and helped us through our first visit. The other workers were also nice and even brought out the robot to show my son and I. The food was delicious especially the Chicken Salad sandwich and my son devoured the burger!!Kid-friendliness: Small area for small kids to play at.

Don't get anything made with ground beef and you will be fine. Ground beef is overcooked and flavorless. Burger patties looked like they were reheated from yesterday and are too small for the bun. The kid area is cool if you aren't seated next to it.

Anvil is always amazing, every time we show up. My fiance is a social butterfly and loves to bring big parties, but they always accomodate. Their unending patience and amazing accommodations for us makes this my go-to local spot everytime I'm in downtown royce.
Love this place! They've got it dialed-in when it comes to a great balance of menu offerings and ambiance. TouchTunes jukebox available with a good sound system.

1st time visiting for late lunch & I was very disappointed. The brisket sandwich was good but my fries tasted like they were made last year & my bottle beer was barely cold. My friend tried 2 different house brewery beers & said they were terrible ?. Sadly I won't be going back.

Delicious food! Lots of Gluten free options. The veggies bowl is delicious! I love adding in shrimp and filet to me dish. The spicy green beans are one of my favorites! Service is always great, every time I've been. Looking forward to trying their brunch soon!

I went with a family of 13 to this place. No one was happy with their meal. The sodas are made with real sugar so the Dr Pepper lovers at the table, it just didn't sit right with them. Although we tried the pretzel appetizer and that was very good and a huge hit. Service was friendly but slow. They weren't busy when we went which was 1:00 on a Sunday. The look of the place was pretty cool though. They have a section for kids to play (video game, doll houses) need set up. My kids also liked they have a robot to help bring out food. I probably won't be back but it was fun to try

Great servers and ambiance. The food here is amazing!! We have been so many times and it never fails! They are supportive of our front line heroes and supporting the local shelters! Can't go wrong here!!

Our waitress had a 20 top and we were ignored. Not her fault but the owners were both there and witness to it. Don't sit us if you're not ready to serve us. The couple sat 2 minutes before us was done with their meal before we received our entree and appetizer (at the same time). The burger and grilled cheese were good but cold and the fries were inedible because they were so cold. Our order had clearly been sitting for 20+ minutes. If you're looking to dine in Royse City, there are much better choices.
