Place would be much better if they 1) stopped trying to do an all-open-air concept in a place with mostly extreme heat and a temporary second season of cold, 2) stopped trying to be a full-service restaurant with the small kitchen and long turn around times they have, and 3) have the waitresses/waiters visit tables 2000% more often coupled with having the bartender service printed tickets first before service of those sitting at the actual bar as theres no reason to wait an hour for a beer making it much faster to consistently get up and go order/receive my own beer from the bar. Will be interesting to see what new mgmt and/or ownership will do with the location in the future.

"It's truly unfortunate about this place. While the concept was promising, it ultimately fell short. The establishment consistently offered an impressive beer and cocktail selection, but the food ranged from hits to complete misses. Beyond the culinary aspect, the venue itself presented issues. An indoor-outdoor setup doesn't fare well in Texas, as it's either unbearably hot or too cold. Managing the temperature became a costly challenge, with significant expenses on propane for warmth in winter and excessive water misting in the scorching summer. Restructuring is essential for better environmental control. Additionally, securing a high-quality chef would significantly enhance the overall experience. I sincerely hope they can turn things around, whether under current management or with a new owner."

We enjoyed our initial visit and the experience. Unfortunately, the business was faced with more difficulties than they could overcome. Hoping that a similar business will take its place. For quite a while, when it was open, it was busy and people were enjoying the atmosphere.

My husband and I went out for a last minute late dinner for our Anniversary. My husband wanted to go to Alejandro’s but I told him I had never been to Native Station and would like to give it a try. The place was empty due to the bad weather moving in I guess…except for one other group sitting at a table playing the trivia game that was going on. We sat at the bar and ordered nachos, wings and tots and my husband had a burger. The food came out quick and hot and was actually really good! I have to give props to the bartender Jason. He gave exceptional service and we had great conversations with him. Overall, we couldn’t had asked for anything better. The food and service were awesome! We will definitely go back…just not during a huge thunderstorm moving in lol. Thanks Jason and all the staff that were there on the night of 10/4.

**In response to your reply, we were mare aware the frozen margs were rotated each week, we came 3 weeks in a row and they were serving the same ones each week**I mean this would be such an amazing place with the right management and staff, what snin place now is horrible and it shows in your review responses.husband and I came to check out this place in the late fall of 2022. The food was bland, nothing to brag about my frozen marg was horrible, tasted like a salt lick. Service was not what it should have been. The business closed for several months to "revamp the place/menu/service"We came back shortly after the opened again in 2023, still the same. Marg was horrible once again. Food tasted like you were eating friend oil, horrible.Seating is uncomfortable, service was not good once again. We tried to come back 4 different times afterwards for the Dreamcicle and Big Red frozen margs which they never had available.Hours and days they are open will be what truly makes this business fail along with menu and staffing issues.Such an amazing location and has so much potential, sad to see it fail.

Love this place. There is nothing like it on this side of the Metroplex. Friendly staff, great beer selection, and awesome live music. I had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious.

Food was good. Service was very very slow at the start but got better. All of the traffic noise combined with multiple fans made having a simple conversation impossible.

I just expected better. The service wasn’t good, anytime someone would show up the guy working would slouch / just look upset (rolled his eyes) that someone had shown up and would take a bit to serve them. The food isn’t worth the price for example I payed $3 extra for chicken on my salad and I got maybe 5 small pieces.. and when I explained it to the bar tender lady she acted like I was crazy. Get better service and maybe I’ll be back!

TL;DR: This place has so much potential, but the poor customer service mixed with freezer aisle style food made this establishment's rating be what it is. The ambiance was amazing. This *should* be the go-to hangout spot of Royse City. Tenders that were supposed to be tossed in Nashville Hot sauce came out looking worse than ones I could have ordered through a Whataburger drive thru. Burnt. Dry. Unacceptable. This place claims to be a beer garden and yet, has staff pouring beers with zero head and placed in flimsy plastic cups. An $111 tab was just not worth the dining experience, especially for food that comes out of a freezer aisle bag. Please listen to your customers. Your clientele matter and we are only here to make you a better establishment.

They say kid friendly and mean it! There’s always more than just our baby sitting and eating. The food is good and if you go on a weeknight at happy hour it’s never too crazy. I recommend the wings and chicken sandwich if you go!

Over all I had a fun time here on a girls brunch trip recently. The mimosa tower is cheap and good! The ambiance is relaxed and spacious. There isn't a lot of parking so be prepared for that. The food itself was ok, but my bagel wasn't toasted, which I found odd. There isn't a lot of options for the brunch which is disappointing, but they are just starting to have brunch here so I think it will be getting better once they have the hang of it. All in all I would come back here for a dinner and drinks situation. They have a stage where you can hear live bands at night. I also don't really like the bathroom here, it's kind of like in a separate shed-type building connected to the outside patio. They have what I would describe as "fake toilets" because they are smaller than regular toilets and not connected fully to the ground so when you sit down you kind of feel like you might go flying in the air. Other than that everyone here is friendly. It's a cool place in this small town area.

I came with a group of 6 after our initial place for dinner was closed. The location was very lively. An open type of setup, even the indoor section could be considered outdoor since it is not fully enclosed. It was Trivia night so you hear a lot of noise in the background. The server was very attentive and helpful. The food came out fairly quickly, it was good overall nothing specifically stood out but nothing was bad either. We ordered the Loaded Fries, Smokestack, Native Burger, Zesty Chicken Sandwich, Firebird, Texas Size Dogs, and Kids Chicken Tenders.

Easy going and comfortable atmosphere, whether you’re with your kids, with a partner, or on your own. The food was great and the beer selection was phenomenal. Our server AJ was a sweet young man, very attentive and friendly. It was a hot Texas summer evening but the fans and shade kept us perfectly comfortable all evening. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely place with delicious food. To combat the heat they have huge fans and we ate at 6 pm comfortably! The loaded fries are great. The salad that came with my sandwich was hearty and had way more than lettuce and tomatoes. We will definitely be back!
