Ordered food to go yesterday, and was not impressed. Brisket was fatty and not a lot of flavor. Sides were small and no one liked the mack 'n cheese. Side of toast looked like thick sliced bread with some butter.They were very nice on the phone and at the bar, cool place with some outdoor seating. Several TV's, Pool table and Golden Tee video game. May go back for drinks but not the food. 12/2023.

Came for lunch on a Saturday. Bartender was server and was great. Brisket was good, not much smoke flavor. Sauce was tasty. Bacon Mac and cheese and cole slaw were good. Wife loved her baked potato with brisket.

I sat at a table for a good 15 minute and no one came over and said anything to me. Yes, they were very busy so I gave them some time but I work as a waiter so I understand the business. They had a sign at the door saying seat yourself but if you are going to have a sign saying that someone should say something to you to let you know that you walked in the door. Yes I came by myself but I feel that I am just as important as the rest.

Last of a dying breed... All of the other local places similar to this, went to the wayward from all the new Invaders to Texas. I've known this place and its owner for nearly two decades. Always the same great place, and always the same great people. I hope this place lasts forever.

It was a freaking good time in Sachse as the local hero's of metal from Raid dfw and vein played some seriously blistering set's while a panoply of legendary characters from the surrounding area's in the 3 forks region. Especially prevalent were the east fork residents and local rogues with more stories about the wild ride each had enjoyed thru life to get to such a moment in metal lore as this show proved to beThe char bar is now a place to be seen and the launch of seriously fun escapades throughout the local commercial sector.. love this place
